I am so grateful and blessed to have been a patient of Dr. Grover for many years. He is dedicated, meticulous, gifted, cares deeply about his patient’s health. A natural, skilled and very experienced in surgeries, procedures and prescribed medication. One feels at ease and humbled by Dr. Grover overseeing, and performing procedures, arriving at accurate diagnosis — getting his patients well.

Dr. Grover is soft spoken, knowledgeable, conscientious, works very hard as he ensures one is healing. I always knew that I was in the very best hands and care. Gastroenterology is complex, and makes one very anxious w/ not a lot of hope. I trusted him implicitly .

My various cases were complex; then having an auto immune disease as well, & a rare incurable cancer. l was humbled to be treated by such a knowledgeable, skilled, caring and informative specialist. (17 years ago who would have immediately know that I had Eosinophilic esophagitis! And he cured me. Giving me all the knowledge to keep my disease in remission.

I wish Dr. Grover all the very best in his new position and promotion. He is a remarkable doctor/specialist. So well mannered and an excellent disposition. Patient w/ his interns and the best in improving and teaching residency doctors. He takes the time to ensure that you know what your diagnosis is. He is a huge asset to St. Michael’s hospital. I have been a patient of Dr. Samir Grover for many years. Dr. Grover is a good doctor, and was very helpful during challenging times. Dr. Grover is not practicing any more St. Michael's Hospital , it would a great loss for all Dr. Grover’s gastroenterology patients. Dr. Grover worked sincerely and honestly and for patient’s best interest. May god bless Dr. Grover in all his future endeavours.

Dr. Grover is exceptional. Don't pay attention to the pandemic-related complaints below. This guy is a true expert - be very happy if you get referred to him. He took my condition seriously, he answered all my questions professionally & competently, he was personable & empathetic. He even explained the limits of what his profession understands as related to my condition, which is a clear mark of a real expert. He ran the procedure like clockwork, he was good to his staff (another important indicator), & even answered my nerdy questions mid-procedure without breaking stride. He had no issues with my respiratory PPE. He explained all the findings to me in detail. I thank him & his staff for helping make a difficult situation much, much better. I appreciate their service in these challenging times.

After I was misdiagonosed and prescribed some medication, I developed a liver failure and became very ill. I was very, very fortunate to have Dr Grover attend to me. He spared himself no trouble to confirm the cause of my liver failure, arrange a potential liver transplant, all while being by my side, explaining, answering questions and relieving my anguish. He does not want to acknowledge it because like all brilliant individuals, he is humble, but he saved my life. I will forever hold him in my highest regard and respect.

She was very prompt scheduling my appointments, if the date didn't work, she worked diligently to make the dates happen.
Dr. Grover was super kind, very personable, extremely thorough, and professional.

Dr. Grover was my doctor for many years as I had complex gastro issues as well as brain damage after a coma that I went into from encephalitis. He was always kind and extremely knowlegeable about how to help me. he always went above and beyond. i was told that during one of my comas he would sit by my bedside and just think trying to figure out how to help. I now no longer need him as a doctor but I must say that he really does konw his stuff!! and if he doesnt know something he will find someone who does! Thank you Dr. Grover.
