My experience with Dr. Leslie Strong has been very positive. i find him to be kind and sensitive to his patients, he's a genius. You can't take anything personal. I've done well under Dr. Strong. My sister love him and my assistant principal went to him and was healed. He does his job well. Lois V. Grinage

This doctor and his staff are unbelievably rude. I came in for the doctor to check a new lump. After waiting an hour, I was told that he would not see me. What was my "sin"?? Missing a screening mammogram appt. a few years ago. I spent the whole morning getting to the office and waiting an hour before being basically kicked out by a rude receptionist who can barely speak English. Total disrespect and no caring for the patient's time or health. This is not the way to treat a patient. Shame on you Dr. Strong!

Dr Strong was recommended to me as a surgeon in 1991. I had just lost my sister to cancer, I was being followed at the Guttman clinic because I had a ( noncancerous) breast tumor and was taking a 'watch and wait approach." When the tumor started to grow Guttman informed my GYN doc but neglected to inform me and delayed my surgery. However, Dr. Strong successfully removed the tumor and I have been his patient since, despite the lack of respect that he displays. Yes he was rude and insensitive during surgery also. I had local anesthehia, so I know. He has been so dismissive and rude since that I cringe just thinking about the next check-up. Yes, he treats breasts like unpleasant dough that his kneading. Yes, His cash only policy is ridiculous. and his staff is unpleasant Yes I should look for another doc for check-ups But fear has kept me returning to this guy . You DO BETTER.... DON"T GO TO HIM !!!!!!

Here is the truth how I see it- all comments about his personality are correct. However, I know a person who assisted him during numerous operations, and she speaks very highly of him as a surgeon. I would not care much about malpractice cases, all surgeons have those. I go to him and I know that his personality is quite shocking, but if you can get pass that, he is supposedly a very KNOWLEDGEABLE doctor.

My co-worker who had a surgery with Dr. S referred me and our other co-workers to him. Since then, we all come to Dr. S. and never had any complaints. I come to Dr. S for regular mammograms. Previously, I did it in other medical offices, so I can compare. At Dr. S office, they have very good modern equipment, and the staff is very carrying and professional, so they do it as comfortable for you as possible. Also, you get the results right away, which is very convenient. When the doctor performs an examination, he talks to you all the time about your family to make you feel better, I think. I don’t know why he always recognizes me and always tells me how happy he is to see me. He was unbelievably warm with me when he learned about my difficult family circumstances, and even gave me a hug, and he found very warm words to support me. The front desk personnel is also very good. I wanted to provide an example, but there is no more space left. It's true that they only take cash.

S-A-D-I-S-T ... Cruel and demeaning! Run, don't walk away from this arrogant doctor. He actually told me to stop asking questions during my post-op visit and told me to be quiet while he was doing a painful aspiration procedure on me. Please be warned and find another doctor.

While Dr. Strong may be considered a 'good' doctor by other doctors, as a patient who thank goodness has not had any major problems, he is very cold, distant speaks down to you. When I asked him about taking a breast sonogram, all he would say is "if the radiologist reading your mamogram thinks you need one then you will get a call from my office otherwise you do not need one." This conversation took place in the hallway with all the other patients waiting to be seen. As he only takes CASH, and checks if you are paying over $50, when questioned by his staff about payment he kept saying if they don't have cash an ATM is on 14th street-let them go and get cash before I see them. This was the last time Dr. Strong sees this patient

I wish I'd seen the previous poster's review before going to Dr. Strong. As stated, he is arrogant, dismissive, and rushed. His office is run like a clinic and is run-down and not at all state-of-the art. Worst of all, he was completely cold and dismissive of my emotional state. Also, check healthgrades.com... he has many malpractice settlements (I'm not surprised.) I only went to him because he took my insurance...but you get what you pay for. Thank god I have found a new, compassionate surgeon. Dr. Strong is not someone you want to go to for anything serious.
