*I believe there are 2 Ottawa Marie Claude Gagnons* which I believe explains some negative comments. The MC Gagnon I dealt with I saw through Rideau Friel Medical Center and she is amazing. She was empathetic and sharp, resourceful, problem solver. She is no longer at the clinic and I’m so dissapointed.

The site needs to add some address or practice information in order not to mix up two separate individuals. I believe one is out of 535 Montreal rd or something like that.

Dr. Gagnon is kind, empathetic, and all around brilliant. It’s quite rare to find a doctor as outstanding as she is! I’m grateful for her medical curiosity as it leads to ruling out all possible options for a diagnosis. Dr. Gagnon is a wonderful physician and genuinely cares about her patients.

Dr.Gagnon does NOT care about her patients. Every single time I need to attend the Dr’s office I get anxious as I know it won’t be a good visit. She never takes the time to listen to my concerns or questions. Tells me everything is fine when clearly everything is not fine.

One day, she sent me off telling me I need some over the counter topical cream on a rash that started showing up on my arm. Next thing you know, the rash got worse and worse to the point where I had to go to the ER as my skin felt like it was burning off. Turns out, I had a serious skin infection/fungus that if left un treated can cause permanent skin damage!

I knew something was off with her. All she cares about is seeing as many patients as possible so she can get paid. How can some making multiple six figures a year be so inconsiderate towards another human being and take advantage of individuals during hardships?

I’m at ease to see I’m not the only one who feels like this. I thought she had it out for me personally…

I’m sure she’s knowledgeable and deals with a great amount of stress but that comes with the job and most definitely with the pay!

Smarten up Dr.Gagnon! You took an Hippocratic Oath. It’s time you start owning up to it.

The apt only last 15 minutes. Always feel rushed out the door! Every time I have questions about certain things she said its completely normal even though I have huge discomforts regarding issues I bring up. I was able to meet with another Dr. at her office. This Dr. was 100% better. Took the time to explain everything to me, even went on google to show me pictures and things I could do myself to help prevent the discomfort. I felt more at ease than ever after meeting with the second Dr.

Out of all places, you shouldn’t feel like you’re just another ‘customer’ in line while being at the Dr’s office. If it wasn’t for the fact that all other Dr’s aren’t taken on new patients, I would’ve switched by now.

My file was transferred to her when Dr. Tetrault (my physician for over 30 years) retired. She hand-picked Dr. Gagnon due to my complex file and I have to say that it was a wonderful choice. She is kind, knowledgeable, thorough, respectful, humble and a great personality and bedside manner. I'm really sad that she has taken a break. Physicians like her are few and far between. A real gem!

Dr. Gagnon is amazing and really listens to my concerns and health issues. She takes the time to explain your diagnosis and suggest alternatives therapies. She is very knowledgeable. She listens, answers questions, shows empathy and humour. She goes above and beyond. :)

Dr Gagnon has shown deep empathy and care. We had a sad medical outcome and she personally called me on a weekend just to check how we were doing. If that's not dedication and care, I don't know what is. She listens, answers questions, shows empathy and humour. She goes above and beyond. :)

Few doctors take the time to listen to your concerns and address the issue. Dr. Gagnon listens and if she is hesitant, she will do research on the spot to make sure she is giving you the most accurate information. Lucky to have her.

She is an awesome Doctor. I have been seeing her since she was in Blackburn. Always helpful and very knowledgeable. If she isn't sure she will find out for you. So glad I found her when I did!
