Dr. B is an outstanding doctor. I trust him 100%. He is very caring about his patients and will take the time necessary to address any concerns. The staff in Ocala is WAY better than the staff he has in Gainesville. SIMED is responsible for the staff issues, I do not believe he has any control over that. But my opinion is he is the best neurologist around :)

Staff totally mean, arrogant and rude. Can't comment on Doctor as I never got past the staff. Made phone appointment for 10:30, was told to come 15 min early for paperwork which would make eta of 10:15. Office called to verify appointment which they said was 11:00, tried to clarify, rude woman insisted the appointment was 11:00. Just agreed to shut her up. Arrived at appointment at ORIGINAL appointment time just to be safe, filled out all the required papers, they made copies of D/L, insurance card, etc. At 11:30, still waiting, went up to receptionist and asked about appointment and was told my appointment would be delayed a little as the Doctor was with a patient and had another before me. When I asked about my supposed appointment time of 11:00, I was told that I WASN'T asked to come in so early and my appointment wasn't until 11:30 anyway.....I just walked out.

Dr. Borkoski is a great doctor, but his staff are absolutely horrible! They are so RUDE and unprofessional on the phone and act like I'm inconveniencing them when I ask them to do such annoying things like schedule appts and send me my medical records - you know, THEIR JOB. I will continue to put up with them because he is such a kind and smart doctor, but I wish he would hire staff reflective of his quality of care that didn't make him look bad. Also, you may wait awhile to be seen by him but it's only because he takes the time necessary to address all the problems of the patient, instead of churning through patients like an assembly line.

had an appt on 2/2 Dr couldn't see me because didn't have my files which were delivered to him on 1/26,made me another appt for 2/10 arrived & staff didn't have me down for appt yet I have an appt card.I think the Dr needs to get a new staff to handle his affairs.

Incompetent staff. It took me forever to get anything accomplished with them. Do not use this doctor if time is of the essence. Overall horrendous experience.

Dr. Borkoski is the best doctor I have ever had!! He's patient, funny, and very knowledgeable, and _really_ listens. No matter how stressed, upset, and worried I was going in, I always felt like he took a huge weight off my shoulders, and I left feeling 100x better. One time he stayed almost an hour after closing to answer all my questions. I only wish he could be my doctor for everything, too bad he doesn't do surgery. I found him using this website and I hope someone else out there looking for a neurologist/pain mgt finds this too b/c having a good doctor can make a huge difference in your life. The SIMED plaza is great too, gives high quality MRIs and the staff is friendly and professional.

This doctor has one of the best bedside manners that I've ever seen. I'm an RN and work with many MD's, this guy is tops. He is wonderful. He's also very smart when it comes to neurology. He also has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr. Borkoski by a friend and he is absolutely one of the best. He is very thorough without excessive treatment. He is extremely professional and has one of the best bed side manners I have ever experienced. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in terms the patient can understand. Although he makes an obvious attempt to stay on schedule, he also is open to spending as much time as needed to make his patients comfortable before leaving his office. He speaks "to" you, not "at" you. I left his office having great trust in his judgement even though it was the first visit.
