Deplorable. I was sent to him for a sigmoidoscopy for abdominal pain. He gave me a full colonoscopy without anesthetics even after his assistant warned him that I wasne't prepped for the procedure. He just said ' he's young, he can take it' (I was in the 30's). Before the procedure he told me he wouldn't find anything and said my pain was caused by some Freudian babble from when I was in diapers (idiot !). A few months later I was in the ER with a bleeding diverticulitis. Dr in the ER said Rochon should have seen this. He was too busy with his God complex I guess. He detered me from seeking help for a long time. He does not deserve to be called a doctor. Hope I meet him face to face some day.

Great specialist. Colonoscopy he did was painless and fast. Unfortunately he is retiring in December. He will be missed by many of his patients. His admin assistant Dominique will also be missed. Happy Retirement Dr. Luc.

Great experience. No pain whatsoever during my colonoscopy. He is always on time and respectful. His staff are great and knowledgeable. Unfortunately he will be retiring shortly and finding a replacement with his experience will be difficult.

Worst experience ever! No sedative so the colonoscopy was very painful. He was very rough and rude and he reported to my doc I had ibd and no suggestions or treatment. So as symptoms worsened I was not sent for retesting. I ended up eventually in emerg and diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis and almost lost my colon. I’d lost so much blood my hemoglobin went from 135 to 85.

Became aware of this doctor through a friend on whom he performed an initial procedure in March of 2018. Despite test results indicting problems that needed attending to there has yet to be a confirmed follow-up appointment. Several have been made and each time the doctor's office has cancelled them, with very little advance warning or explanation. My friend still does not know if he has major health issues that need further treatment.

Horrible experience with this doctor. He did a colonoscopy without any drugs which was very painful. I could see blood weeping out of the walls of my colon. He told my Family Practitioner there was really nothing wrong with me. Turned out I ended up with sever ulcerative colitis. My hemoglobin went from 135 down to 85. Thank God I found another gastro through an emergency hospital visit. It’s hard to rate his knowledge as his communications skills are so poor. I gave him two stars because he somehow passed his exams to graduate. Glad to hear he is retiring soon.

I was referred to this doc from my gp, he diagnosed me and started me on treatment. Yet he never told me upfront that this treatment is gor whole life or their os remission and flares and the mountains of side effect ot woukd have on me with moon face acne hump back etc etc and that it eventually stops working.

Not approachable
Doesnt answer questions appropriately
I would not recommend this dr.

He really is on this for money
Doesnr care a put patient a bit.
However his receptionist has always been very nice.
