I find Dr. G easier to get into than my family doctor now. His clinic is efficient and Glenda is organized. He does get a little behind sometimes but most days it’s in and out. I get injections that are very helpful and not many doctors do them. So it’s good!

Good doc, but for a specialists who treats people with pain, its frustrating that he limits issues to one, maybe two per very short appointments. This is more an indictment of the medical system in AB than anything, but it has also been the way he's operated since before doctors and the ucp govt went to war

Dr. Giantomaso was very helpful during the Covid crisis. He phoned me personally and sent my medications to the pharmacy. When I did have to see him in his office was very clean and they the spaced out patients and even gave me a mask. His injections are very helpful overall. The Botox in particular has been incredible for my headaches. He definitely gets to the point quickly, and doesn’t lollygag but gets you help when you need it.

I actually called Dr. Giantomaso's office about the comment below when I was searching his address, because it contains personal information. Glenda said they can't do much about online reviews but leave my own. Ok its inconsiderate to put in personal information. Dr G has only ever eaten an apple and taken a phone call in front of me so maybe this other person is very boring. I don't know. Anyways he has always been a good doctor for me by taking me in on emergencies and filling out forms without payments. He is the only one doctor that could get me covered for my botox injections which are very expensive and work really well. Besides the parking costs and that he is quick in appointments, it is a clean and very nice clinic with good staff.
The injection clinic is also right across the hallway so getting everything done in one place is amazing. I would have to go to three different places to get the same treatments done anywhere else in Calgary.

I’ve been seeing him for years, and certainly is an excellent doctor with great knowledge that has helped me for my chronic pain. He definitely looks more tired and burnt out lately and seems to always have patients waiting out the door and in the hallways sometimes. He probably needs to slow down or see less patients if he is going to last another 10 years.

Glenda was such a dear getting me in before the holidays for emergency hip injections. I was in excruciating pain, and couldn't sleep at all and was desperate. 4 days later and I'm feeling great and finally slept. Dr. G was quick and painless with injections as always. Glenda is the best front secretary I ever deal with at a doctors office.

I find him very abrupt poor bedside manner. Almost rude at times doesn’t listen to me he knows everything even before I speak to tell him what is wrong. You must do everything his way and don’t ask questions. He will not listen and he will just leave the room. I have been going to him for years now and there is such a disconnect it is as though I am seeing a new doctor for the first time. Maybe somehow he really cares but I don’t know either way I don’t see it.

This doctor was knowledgeable, understanding and helpful. I came away from first appointment with tests to be done, assessment, and appointment for further review to be done after test results back to Dr Giantomoso.
I felt comfortable and confident my issues would be looked after. He actually seemed empathetic regarding my hypermobilty and also my nerve issues from shoulder to fingers. Office staff very competent and friendly.

Excellent doctor, with helpful staff. Been with him for years for my arthritic back. Sometimes waiting and parking is a problem, and he’s gone a lot of the summer which can be frustrating. Sends in prescriptions and notes without charging me anything. Worth seeing.

This doctor seems to understand headaches a lot more than other doctors. He offered medications and injections that were new and actually worked really well. He’s definitely brisk and can talk quickly, by the 3rd appointment I knew what to expect and with my headaches better I’m fine with it.
