Under Dr. Bandlamuri’s care, I wound up complaining of symptoms for 4 years with no intervention which ultimately led to several hospitalizations, dialysis and major surgery for a blood clot. Dr. Bandlamuri never appeared concerned regarding my symptoms and instead offered medication and physical therapy without a diagnosis, both of which I refused. She instead blamed me for my illnesses, stating I had not come to see her for a year, although there were many appointments prior where she did nothing to try to diagnosis the cause of my symptoms, which I mentioned at every visit. I was instead seeing specialists during that time to try to obtain a diagnosis and the appropriate care. When attempting to discuss these issues, she was not open to listening and did not want to be held accountable for her inadequate care. I believe with proper medical intervention, all my conditions could have been prevented. My life has changed drastically and am hooked up to a machine every night. I have been placed on the donor list which will ultimately cost hundreds of thousands of dollars on top of what has already been paid.
Other issues I have are the hour-long wait times every appointment and only 5 minutes spent with her. She overbooks and appears to be only interested in making as much money as possible. She charges $25 for a “drug screen” by having patients check yes or no on 2 questions. She insists on yearly physical examinations which are no different from a regular appointment.
I am paying a huge price for Dr. Bandlamuri’s lack of care and would never recommend her to anyone.

If you're looking for a doctor who is compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and respects your time. DO NOT LOOK HERE!!!
She is lacking all the attributes you look for when wanting a doctor for any patient especially an elderly loved one.
She will ignore your needs but don't worry you will end up in the ER where they will take care of your needs.

If you are looking for a professional/knowledgeable Doctor, Doctor Bandlamuri is the doctor for you. I have been seeing Dr Bandlamuri for two years. She is always professional, punctual and knowledgeable. She cares very much about her patients but has a no nonsense bed side manner. She recommends a treatment and expects that her patients are concerned enough about their health to follow through. So, if she says you need a colonoscopy, best to follow her advice.
She is by far the best doctor i have seen. It is, of course, the responsibility of the patient to communicate with the doctor to make sure all your questions are answered.
I highly recommend her.

I don't understand these reviews! Dr. B is probably one of the best doctors in Tucson. She has helped me with every problem that I have brought her, and has proven that she cares a lot about me. She's relatable and somebody I highly recommend! Do not listen to the other reviews.

This doctor has been the worst I've had the dishonor to have look at me. She was neutral to rude mannered. She did not answer question very well,However when she did she was knowledgeable..enough. Guaranteed every booked appointment I made with her, She was always WAY over booked, and would take a minimum of 1 1/2 hours to get to me, even with my other family members. The longest wait I had was for my unfortunate pelvic exam. The wait was 1 hours in lobby and 1 hour and 25 minutes in the office. This was the first time for me. Of course I was clearly nervous. When it came to it, She scoulded me, disturbingly rude and if anything traumatized me in the office that day. I can understand that she could have been having a bad day. That's fine, but that day was extremely unprofessional. Another annoyance I had dealt with was that She never remembered anything from previous appointments or why I was there for the current one. I'd type more but I ran out of character limit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Dr. Bandlamuri is my PCP. She is a nice, caring, and knowledgeable physician. I feel comfortable discussing my medical concerns with her. She refers me to specialist only when needed. I have had physician who spend very little time with you. Dr. Bandlamuri spends as much time as is needed.

Dr Bandlamuri made several diagnostic errors which were only identified when the insurance company denied the claim. Correcting the errors took considerable time and effort on our part, with no help from the doctor. Check your records carefully, and insist on receiving a copy as once something is in writing, it stays there as "fact".

I really like Dr. Bandlamuri. She takes her patients seriously and takes action on problems. She's great at follow-up. I finally feel like someone is monitoring my overall health and that I'm not just a bunch of body parts being looked at by different specialist.
