Today, my wife and I took our 3 year old to Dr Youngerman for an evaluation for an upper maxillary lip tie. We had an appointment for 11:00, were brought to a room quickly and then waited for nearly an hour for someone to see us. When Dr Youngerman walked into the room, without knocking I might add, there was absolutely no acknowledgement of our lost time. There were also no introductions, not from him, not from his PA-C, nor his scribe. He walked in, simply sat on the chair and proceeded to examine my son, even without so much as using hand sanitizer. This man could not have been any more unprofessional, nor could he be lacking any more in bedside manner. I'd like to let you know that it would be a rather brisk day in Hades before Dr Youngerman comes in contact with a family member again, and I will certainly not recommend him to anyone else. I very much look forward to the Press Gainey survey

I went to youngerman for a medical procedure. Worse mistake of my life. He only performed one surgery not the other two that should have been done. And the one surgery he did will have to be redone by another surgeon. He does not listen to you nor does he try to solve the problem. Avoid him unless you want to have your health suffer.

Very rude office staff. Long wait. I needed an RX change and Dr Youngerman never got back to me. Called again and still waiting for a call back.

Allergy Department Office Staff from Purgatory.

If you like being abused, insulted, degraded, embarrassed, and much much more, this is the place to go. Dr. Pauline Fani is wonderful and if it wasn't for her I would have left this practice a long time ago. However, the office staff must have been trained in the school of terror. They believe that they have the right to insult, belittle and bully the doctor’s patients. After two prior visits from hell, I finally ended participating in a shouting match in which I had to yelled at the office staff to stop scolding me and that I was not listening to them. I told them that I don't have to listen to them and to leave me alone. During this visit (one of several visits where I have been reprimanded and abused), I think I broke a rule by asking Dr. Fani fill out papers for my son’s camp. But it seems that the office women (Debra or Debbie, who then called the office manager for support) believed that they have the right to gang up and yell at the patient instead of speaking to the doctor about office protocol. I believe if a doctor agrees to do something it is not up to the patient to correct the doctor and to know intuitively the office rules. They yelled at me that I needed to pay for the already filled out camp papers. I told them to stop yelling at me and I'll pay for the papers (which I did). They continued to yell, shouting that it isn't the point that I paid rather I should have made a separate appointment with the doctor to have her fill out the papers. The same papers that were filled out and held in my hands. At this point, I yelled back at them to charge me for the office visit and to stop yelling at me. They continued to berate me (with now a waiting room filled with silent astonished onlookers) about the office having rules etc. At that point, I started screaming that they have no right to speak to me or any other patient in this way. I have been a patient with Dr. Youngerman for over 33 years and I am sure that if he was aware of their behavior he would have been mortified. Not only has Dr. Fani lost our business, Dr. Youngerman personally has lost my family's (5 family members) ENT, allergy and audiological business.

I underwent a Clarifix operation in Dr. Youngerman's office in December 2018 to relieve chronic congestion and it has been a life-changing procedure for me. I had been suffering for years, waking up feeling miserable practically every day and feeling congestion pressure throughout the course of the day. I would use nasal sprays and Netipot to relieve symptoms. Since the procedure I haven't used a prescription nasal spray once. I would definitely recommend this procedure.

Very dissatisfied with my experience at LI ENT ASSOC in Plainview. Never got to see the doctor. Rude staff, long wait well beyond appt time. Finally taken to exam room by a sick tech. She was coughing, sneezing and touching all the utensils with the same unloved hand in which she coughed. When I told her I didn't want to catch her cold, she rolled her eyes. After an additional lonf wait in the exam room, I felt very uncomfortable around this sick young woman. I made up an excuse and left. Dr Younger man was nowhere to be seen. The whole experience was unforgivable and unprofessional!!!!

Dr. Youngerman performed my sinus surgery recently. He never called (as doctors typically do) after the surgery to check on me. I typically wait one hour and at most one hour and 15 minutes after my scheduled time even though I was told he is on schedule. His bedside manner is brusque and inattentive. He gave me typed post operative instructions and then handwritten instructions. One point on the handwritten instructions differed from the typed instructions and when he asked me why I had not followed this particular point, I told him that I could not read his handwritten instructions and followed the typed instructions.
I think the doctor is competent but the doctor is rude and inconsiderate and the staff duplicates his behavior.

I had the unfortunate experience to have Dr Youngerman clipped off my uvula. He explained it would hurt moderately for a day or two and would be healed completely in a week. As I write this it has been 10 days. I am still in excruciating pain and have had this pain all this time. I went back about five days later and he prescribed a month wash from a suspicious pharmacy, the only one that carried it. I tried using it but gargling with it was out of the question. The pain of this wash is impossible to take with the open sores in my throat. Dr youngerman demonstrates no compassion or understanding of patient's pain. If the throat is not better in a week I will report him to the medical board and begin a process of litigation
The staff in the office is disgraceful!!! They are rude , nasty and totally lacking in compassion. Stay away from Long Island ENT in Plainview.

I came in a little over a year ago to see Dr Youngerman for chronic tonsillitis after seeing 5 other doctors that all said a tonsillectomy was not necessary. I did wait a while in his office, but I work in a very busy medical office so I understand that doctors do run a bit behind depending on the cases in the rooms. Also, patients are taken according to appointment time, not based on when they sign in, so I knew I was very early to fill out forms so I did not mind waiting the extra 20ish minutes after my scheduled time. When in the room with the doctor, he spent a good amount of time with me, which I appreciate, especially if there is a long wait. He explained everything to me about my condition and asked lots of questions as to what treatments I had in the past. I explained to him that I was also leaving soon for the military, so he immediately booked an appointment within the next week to have a tonsillectomy. I had no complications after surgery and the staff was always very friendly with me, and even helped me to gather all of my medical records for me for the military. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He is a great doctor and definitely worth the wait
