He called me to see how I was doing. To me, that was a surprise and I appreciate it.

If you can get an appointment with this dr., DON'T GO! We actually never got to see Dr. V. as he cancelled 3 times, without valid reason. His disregard for the health of a patient who had very serious issues, is abominable. His office is impossible to reach. He is never available by email, phone or portal. Disrespectful and non empathic dr.

This doctor will not let you speak at all. Good luck trying to explain your medical history to him. Why is it so hard to find a good neurologist in New York ? Every few words I said he interrupted me every time . Trying to answer his question with also explaining my background medical history but that is not enough for him. He messes with you by constantly and obnoxiously interrupting you and then gets mad because you are not answering his question . Depending on this doctor to help your health conditions will not be promising . Very cut throat approach to speaking with his patients . Absolute no bedside manner . No one should be treated like the way he treats his patients. People read the reviews ! I took a chance and went to him but instantly regret it as he made my migraine much worse . The reviews are very true on what will happen if you book a visit with him . He doesn’t have a ton of bad reviews for no reason . He has done this to probably all his patients .

Don’t waste your time seeking help from him for headaches. He pellets you with questions geared towards whether Botox would be covered by your insurance by reading a questionnaire from his computer. He treats you like you’re on trial by demanding one word responses. You are not permitted to expand on your answers nor are you able to ask your own questions. If your not a candidate for his lucrative Botox treatment then you’re swiftly shown the door out. Not only is there no other treatment offered but a diagnosis isn’t given as well. Waste of time and money. Oh , and the money has to be paid up front including any deductible.

I hope none of Dr. Velickovic’s family members are ever treated the way he treated me. Actually, I hope that he was just having an off day and doesn’t routinely treat his patients that way. Not only was I continuously interrupted when trying to share my health concerns but I was disrespected, and my reasoning for coming to see him was dismissed as being anxiety related. Had he taking the time to listen to my story, he would have understood that that is certainly not the case. Unfortunately, I never made it to the point of finding out if he is a good doctor. I never made it past his bedside manner. 0 stars for compassion, understanding and a willingness to listen to his patients.

My daughter made an appointment to see this doctor; but was forced to cancel after his billing department insisted she had to pay a deductible. Even after they were contacted by Cigna advising that the patient was only responsible for a copay, they insisted she was responsible for the deductible. Totally unbelievable !

great doctor, but incompetent office staff, most recently. They will remove your appointment and getting another is near impossible. bad staff sets a bad setting for a good doctor.

Really nice Doctor who knows is area of expertise well. He spends time with you, doesn't rush, and listens to everything you have to say.

I suffered for almost a year and went to Phelps, Westchester Medical Center ( I think they're great too), six doctors and they couldn't figure out what the issue was. His staff got me in the next day and after a ten minute conversation with Dr. Velickovic, he knew what was wrong, examined me, wrote a prescription, and two hours later I went to a party! Symptoms gone and haven't returned in seven years. He is remarkable, patient, kind, brilliant, and saved my quality of life. His staff is efficient, humorous, and go out of their way to help. Considering I've worked in a hospital for 30 years, these comments are not said lightly.

Dr. Velickovic is excellent! Thank goodness for his expertise. He diagnosed my partner with a rare disease that others could not. His bedside manner is very good and he is a very caring physician. We can't say enough good things about him.
