Terrible experience. Dr. Wexner was very rough with his exam, even after I explained how much pain I was in. He was uninterested and dismissive of my history. He was offended by my asking questions. His exam was so painful it took my breath away and left me in excruciating pain/tears. Even then, his attitude was completely compassionless and cold. He was in a hurry and makes you feel like a piece of meat with a medical chart (that he doesn't even read). Avoid this guy.

month for appointment - saw me 5 minutes and demanded 3000 in test and gather medical history before he could assist -was charged 400 for visit. Note that this guy asked me about my sexual orientation - he didnt ask me about sexual activity - he asked me about sexual orientation! I immediately sensed bias when I answered. Went ahead and gathered all the med history and had test done -upon follow up appointment he hadnt reviewed the med history AT ALL -he had to leave the room twice to go get test results as he hadnt reviewed them at all either - and then he said I cant see any problems and cant be of any assistance at this time - he didnt even examine me - and at the time I had two open wounds that were bleeding periodically and had 10 - yes 10! prior surgeries in the prior year and yet he couldnt diagnois any problems - I confronted him and he was extremely defensive from the onset and even rolling his eyes at me before I became aggressive and then read him the riot act - LOSER!

Wexner is the head of a department that includes a doctor named eric weiss. Please do not go near this guy. He is all about the money and NEVER contacts his patients. Even when the procedure does not work, he still does not call. If you question any of them about the bill they turn you over to collection. Balance under $500.

My mother was discharged under Dr Wexners care without his knowledge or any of his staffs knowledge & then when I called his office for appx 5-6 days to ask about how to care for her & also ask about her meds. they finally got back to me after almost one week & stated that she should have been on two meds but she never was seen by his team during discharge & they never prescribed any meds. After they finally called me back the secretary told me that she should have been on two antibiotics 2x a day & her health failed greatly the following week & she took a vey bad turn for the worse & then needed a serious operation which we will never know if she would have needed if they were aware of her discharge & prescribed the meds from time of dicharge like they addmitted she should have been on from the day she left the hosp. After speaking to Dr Wexner in the cafeteria he was very upset about the misunderstanding & said he would look into the situation. Mom eventually needed a colostomy.

Dr. Wexner is an exceptional doctor. I do not know why he was rated poorly in the other review. After several years of being totally incontinent and after several unsuccessful surgeries from other doctors, he and his incredible staff were able to completely fix my problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Wexner for anyone with severe colorectal problems. There is a reason why he is chief of staff, he is the best!

If you really want an honest second opinion, I suggest that you find another doctor to go to. This doctor is in the 'good old boys' network and doesn't want to upset another 'good old boy'.
