Dr. Shaw is one of the great ones. Those people in your life who you will never forget. He is exceptional at what he does, he is humble and treats patients like family. I would not see anyone else but Dr. Shaw.

Dr. Shaw saved my life when two other oncologist said I was too old to have surgery. Dr. Shaw is compassionate and empathetic, he takes his time getting to know me and made sure I had all the appropriate tests done. He helped coordinate my care with all my other doctors to make sure I got the best and timely care. He was never rushed, soft spoken, and really cared about me which made all the difference. I had surgery to remove cancer in my liver and I was home in 4 days. He did a great job, his team did a great job and the hospital did a great job. I hope I never need surgery again but if I do, Dr. Shaw is the only person I would let do it.

Dr. Shaw did my pancreas surgery. I was very nervous and anxious. He made me very comfortable. Made sure me and my family all understood the options we had. Office staff was helpful. He did the surgery on a Monday and I was home for the weekend. Very happy with the outcome and experience.

Dr. Shaw removed cancer from part of my pancreas and spleen. Very small incisions, in the hospital for just a few days, recovered quickly. He was a gentlemen, checked on me every day multiple times, had a high quality team, honest, witty, great surgeon. I am really happy I went to Dr. Shaw. My oncologist and gastro doc both said he is the best around and he did not disappoint.
