Not sure if he is a good doctor or not but this guy is a obnoxious. He's rude, won't answer questions and don't try to question him or else. And major god complex. Not someone you want to see when your not feeling well. Also overbooked.

I have been seeing Dr. Kareemi since I moved to Calgary 12 years ago. Previously, I had been under the care of two other Gastroenterologists. Dr. Kareemi saw that my UC was not being treated by previously prescribed medication and immediately took me off them. We tried several meds until once finally worked. He did not give up on me, even though I had gone through 8 years of not being able to find the appropriate treatment. I am glad he is a confident, competent and professional doctor. He understands the nuances associated with IBS illnesses. When a new treatment was about to be made available, he made sure that I was on the list to receive this. He has ensured my treatment has always been appropriate, even when other doctors did not.

This doctor is arrogant, condescending, and rude. He has a "god" complex and does not tolerate being questioned (even respectfully). He isn't open to any suggestions made by a patient regarding his/her care, and does not seem to care about his patients unless they defer to his opinion completely. He is offended if a patient seeks another opinion and seems to punish patients for seeking help elsewhere. His staff are unhelpful and disrespectful. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

He has no respect for his patients and their time . Making patients wait over 2 hours in the waiting room to booking appoints that can't be made with out in consultation. He a Doctor Complex, I am important you will wait on me and do as I say I am important. Plus his staff are rude

Dr Kareemi is an excellent knowledgeable Gastroenterologist. He is very knowlegeable and takes time with his patients and is host with them. He visited me when I was in the hospital for a gut related problem which he did not have to do but did anyway. Super nice Dr. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Kareemi has been my doctor for over 10 years. I have always found his staff pleasant and helpful. As for the man himself - he is pleasant, knowledgeable and has answered all my questions fully. I consider myself very fortunate to have been referred to him all those years ago.

You book a appointment with this office and they don't update their systems. Wasted a full day because they made a mistake in the booking. Not able to accommodate and the staff were very unhelpful.
