I have been with him for 11 years and at first it was great but now i have been pushing back on going on a new bigger medication as I do not need it yet as I am managing my disease, but I do have low Iron and he fights with me unprofessionally about my low iron. He does get arrogant and rude when i push back and I email his nurse with no communication back for days.

When I was in the hospital being diagnosed with Crohns I am very grateful that Kareemi was the Dr. that I was admitted under. A different gastroenterologist at the hospital was quick to book me for surgery to remove my colon and put me on a colostomy bag. Thankfully Kareemi stopped them. Medication worked and Kareemi has helped me stay in remission since.

The 5 star reviews must be from family members or friends. Its his way or the highway with no explanations and no questions allowed. if you have seen him as a patient then you know what in talking about. If he prescribes a med then talk to your pharmacist about the med and how long you should take it or see someone else

I agree with the review of this doctor saying he is arrogant and condescending .If he does not like you asking questions ,he dismisses you and fabricates a reason Highly unprofessional .He has a God complex and when a person suggests something ,he is quick to take offence .He was so angry when I suggested something ,he stormed out of the room .After that he treated me as less than human .I am disgusted with his medical power of choosing who he will help and who he wont .He even yelled at me when I brought someone with me to his office .My friend had to tell him to stop yelling .What kind of doctor does this ? He did not help treat me at all and found an illegitimate reason .to dismiss me .I believe he will only treat those who feed his ego .I was also made aware that he had inappropriate actions and was investigated by the Collage, Beware .

This doctor did not solve my ongoing problem and was difficult to deal with so I tried getting a referral to another doctor at the rocky view hospital but have been denied 3 times and told I have to see him. Something is not right. You should be able to see another doctor

He is an exceptional Doctor. He has given me all the information needed. His personality is up and his excitement as to what he does exudes from him. I like this gifted man and I am honoured to have him as my Doctor.

Very rude and arrogant when I would talk to him he would ask me how I was feeling and when I would say I felt fine he would respond by saying I find it odd or and strange how you could be feeling fine like he wanted me to be sick. Prescribed me my medication and after only a few weeks of taking it he assumed it wasn’t working and wanted to switch me without even so much as offering to do another colonoscopy. Told me my iron was low and to start taking iron pills and again had only been taking them for a few weeks and he called me up and said I’m sending you for iron infusions and when I said no and explained to him that I hadn’t even been taking the iron pills that long and wanted to wait and see if they were going to work first he got very rude and my doctor a letter saying I was reluctant to get iron infusions so I had to explain to my doctor that I wasn’t I just wanted to see if the pills were going to work first and if not I was willing to go and I only wanted that because I’ve never had an issue with my iron before I thought it was fair but apparently if something isn’t working over night it’s not good enough for him. Would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

He's super smart about crohns anyways. Always upbeat friendly and not usually rushing you out. Great w pain relief during colonoscopies. Fast referrals for ultrasound. Got me feeling normal after 10 years of not feeling great.
