The previous poster seems confused? He or she seems to be unsure whether Dr. Taynen had a role in his/her marriage beak down. I think there are enough other patients posting here that indicate that he has destroyed their families. It is sad that he was allowed to continue practicing.

I take back what I wrote about this doctor before. Dr. Taynen was a true professional who tried his best to help me. He was very insightful and was a very good listener. He was punctual and always tried to work around my schedule. I was lucky to have had such a good therapist. Best to you Dr. Taynen

I am sure nobody who has commented on this site would condone this from a so called professional who vulnerable people have put their trust in. I feel sorry for the victims of this man. It is sad what he has done.

What can I say? Reading some of the more, uh, nasty comments, it’s clear that you can’t help someone that is truly nuts. Lol I think Dr. Taynen is very good at what he does. There are some people that you just can’t talk to…usually women, fsr. (For some reason)
I give him top marks.

I just wanted to take back what I said about Dr. Taynen ruining my marriage. My husband and I have ended our marriage. Dr. Taynen you are a credit to your profession. You are human. Humans make mistakes. I wish no I’ll will on you. May you be happy in your retirement.God Bless

I see Dr. Taynen three times a week since my sons dad passed suddenly almost 2 years ago. I am sad for the day that I do not get to have him as an ear and voice of reason and understanding. So far, he has been a constant safe space for my head and heart to rely on. I look forward to working with him for the remainder of his practicing years.

Reading some of the comments here have been very helpful at making me feel less alone with the damage that Dr. Taynen has done with his ??therapy! He spent much of his time talking about himself or going off on some philosophical tangent. He would demean women, like the time he commented that all women have eating disorders! He is a dangerous man and I am shocked that he is still practicing.

Dr. Taynen helped me more than he could ever know. I still feel like I have some work to do, but he helped me find a better path for my life where I have found so much peace.
