I wish Dr Chalmers would contact me, he diagnostiqued me ankilosing spondylitis in 1980 , and i am supposed to be in a wheel chair since 1995 from his diagnostic. He used me as a demo of spondylite for his university student (which i was glad to do) but the thing is, his diagnostic was wrong , i am 55 years old and still doing snowboarding and sailing and woodworking. This man changed my life completely, with his wrong diagnostic. I would like him to contact me.

Went to see rheumy, the roadtrip from hell! Road construction caused delays, missed our ferry, waited one hour for next one, our arrival 20 minutes late, we called ahead to explain and say we were hauling butt to get there. Upon arrival in the rheumy's office he proceeded to tear a strip off of me, as if I could control road construction! He then went on with a bizarre and demeaning rant, telling me there was no exuse for this delay and if it happened again he would drop me as a patient. He then gave me "5 minutes", to tell me his diagnosis, I "DO NOT" have lupus, but have FM only. Then tell me what have those elevated ANA and CRP test levels been about? Then why has my GP had me off and on predinose for 20 years--with results? What other disease process could give those results, and benefits with treatment of sterioids-not FM. Today I am stressed to the MAX,this is dangerous to my health. This doctor was more than unreasonable, he was unprofessional and a total ASS!!!!!

Dr. Chalmers has literally saved my life. I have a very severe rheumetoid Arthritis and Dr. Chalmers has seen me for 30 years. He is always kind, caring and absolutely the smartest and most up to date Dr. that I know. He's always punctual, and let's me know about any upto date treatments or even new drug trials that I may wish to try. I cannot recommend him enough. I'm sure I wouldn't have been as healthy as I am without his care!

i live up north and i met dr. chalmers up here, he told me straight forward what would happen if I kept taking other medications for my Rh. Arth. We don't get specialist that often up here. But I like him for being honest and listening to me about my disease, which he knows a lot about..never been on this site, but would like to know when he is coming up here again.

Dr. Chalmers is a life saver! I've seen him for over 20 years and have received the very best care. He is always punctual, pleasant and extremley caring - even to pause and pat my shoulder or hand if I'm having a rough day. He lectures all over the world and has the best knowledge of new medications and new trials. His staff is helpful and friendly. I know I would have been in a wheelchair if it wasn't for the care I have received from him, God bless Dr. Chalmers

I agree with the comments about Dr. Chalmers being punctual, caring and knowledgeable! He has helped immensely and he knows his stuff...He has confidence that is well earned. If I have a question he takes the time to answer and he's always willing to problem solve...I love him! And his secretary Laura is the very best!!!

Dr. Chalmers was very helpful in assisting me get the right medication for my AS and his staff have been very helpful and supportive since I've been on it. Completely pain-free since I began the treatment. Frankly, I wouldn't have cared if he had called me names during the diagnosis (which he didn't)...fact is he diagnosed me correctly and has given me my life back. Very pleased to have met this man!

I have been seeing Dr Chalmers for over 20years. Although we have had issues in the past, I do find him to be a good Dr. What I really appreciate is that he dictates a letter to your family Dr while you are there. He also recommended me for a clinical trial which has helped me.
