Dr. Illig repaired a ruptured disc at c4-c5 for me a decade ago. The injury was a mess. It had taken months to get referrals and the initial injury had not been improved by the wait. My discomfort was profound and the damage done to the spinal nerves threatened to cause me a degree of permanent disability with the left arm and hand. Dr. Illig spent nearly three hours in surgery repairing the disc tear. The sutures he used to close th incision were a work of art. The injury healed perfectly and within a month I was 90% recovered. Within a year, it was if the injury had never occurred. Dr. Illig is not only a fine surgeon but he's good with patients and he assures you understand all the factors involved in any procedure. He's a fine doctor in my estimation and he knows his art and how to handle his patients. I can heartily recommend him to anyone needing neurosurgery.

I was very fortunate to have Dr Bhatti and Dr Illig perform a spinal fusion on me in december of 2010. I met with many other surgeons prior to them and none of them gave me the confidence and the level of competance that they displayed in their ability to help me. I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I can't say enough good things about Dr Bhatti, Dr Illig and the entire staff at CSNA. Their assistant Jerimiah was on top of things and was very helpful during pre-op and post-op appointments. I know it is very difficult to find a doctor that takes time to discover what options are best for you and your long term health care. I would recommend them to anybody.
