Memorial Hospital

The absolute worst experience. While having an allergic reaction with my throat swelling up, gasping for air. Alyssa who works at ER desk was yelling and me and mocking me. Another patient came to help me and bring a wheelchair. The lady who took my vitals also completely ignored my request for oxygen. It was around 40 minutes before I was given a shot to help open my airway.

Memorial Hospital sucks the birthing unit is totally garbage. My wife went in to have the baby she had a blood infection which the baby had from being inside of her but the staff automatically thought that the baby was detoxing from drugs so they took the baby shot it up with methadone and morphine never thought about the blood infection being in the baby stereotyped us from the get-go all the blood tests come back negative on the baby and my wife in biblical cord everything negative my baby was in ICU because he stopped breathing the only reason he is alive today is because of God not that lame Birthing Center and now we got lawyers beating down our door because we're going to sue the pants off the hospital and the security staff very unprofessional my wife was holding the baby female security guard came up put her hands on my wife while she had the baby in her arms my wife put the baby down and showed the security guard at how to take care of the situation that Memorial birthing center is a joke

The radiology department and the MRI area are very friendly and professional. I can't say enough good things about their department.

Worst birthing postpartum care. Discharged me early with high BP/preclamsia. Then made me wait in the ER for 8 hrs instead of taking me directly to maternity floor for postpartum care.

Probably the worst hospital visit we have ever experienced. Our son is a quadriplegic and if it was not for my wife/ his mother, he may have been seriously harmed. Staff almost administered wrong medication, mom caught that. Mom had to perform his bowel programs as the staff was inept, she also performed the clean-up after two accidents. Nurse brought in the totally wrong catheter and replied, "won't this still work?" to mom. Parkview Hospital in Pueblo is bad enough already, now UC Health is taking them over. Afraid it's (Parkview) service is going to be worsening tremendously (if that could happen) with the take over from UC Health.

ER visit 7 months 2.5 million dollar just to die. When someone goes to the hospital in pain dont leave without an answer. They did exploratory surgery found nothing. Sent home just to find out the pancreas was leaking acid in the body. Just because their first hunch was wrong they should still try to figure out what may be the problem.

Incompetent and grossly overcharging facility for a sleep consult I had there. Medicare was billed for about $25,000 and me myself about $1000 for a sleep study that could have been done for about $100 at home. I never received any help from them at all regarding the selection of my bipap mask and in 2nights at tehir facility they themselvesdid not even have a mask that fit! I also as a patient over 8 years dealing with a family practitioner connected with their hospital chain consistently received bad and incompetent care including constant misdiagnoses and was made to feel like an absp;ite criminal when needing pain killersfora recurring skin infection. I was left in constant pain for years because of this doctor of theirs.

A teaching hospital where they medically kidnap you to experiment on you. Then, when you complain they call the cops & DHS on you.

Do not be trusting fool's of Kem Su Hor. She gave the OK for a operation for my husband that destroyed his organ's and him. No mention of risk's or what was being done. He would never be coherent again. They either used him for a science project for intern's, for money,or both at Memorial. He was the best part of my life, and I just wanted to bring him home and take care of him. She took that away from me. Memorial is a death trap, and alot of doctor's don't care about human life any more ,it's about money. Please make your own decision's, do not let them to decide.

Worst hospital to deal with< I was misdiagnosed with a bacterial rash and was given medication that didn't work , After suffering for a week with a rash that spread all over my upper body , I seen my RA doctor and he superscribed the medication needed for an allergic reaction from the medication I was on(It was gone in few days) They wouldn't adjust the bill because they said that was the right medication for that bacterial rash(That I never Had and 3 months arguing over there incompetence )I urge you all to seek a different hospital!!!
