WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The staff is rude and rather communicate amongst themselves than tending to patients. I would pay for healthcare rather than go there.

Worst experience, After sitting six hours in emergency no bed for my mother. Doesn't look like developed country's hospital.

I just read an article in the newspaper about patient T. McKitty. The hospital and doctors threatened to remove her from life-support without consent. This is illegal. I refer to the Rasouli Supreme Court of Canada decision and the Ontario Health Care Consent Act, 1996. The Supreme Court upheld the Ontario HCCA which has been in place for over 20 years. If there is a disagreement about removing a patient from life-support, the doctor must file an application for a Hearing before The Consent and Capacity Board. This is not an option. The family does not require a lawyer to participate in the Hearing. Many families cannot afford a lawyer. They may hire one if they wish. The CCB has the mandate to make a decision based on known patient wishes and best-interests. Having the CCB decide protects the doctor from legal liability. I also read that the hospital and doctors failed to follow the standard of care and forced the family to hire a lawyer to get a court injunction. This is outrageous. The family should sue the hospital and doctors to recover their costs. The onus is on the hospital and doctors - not the patient or their family. Why is this still happening? Why are hospitals and doctors still being allowed to operate Death Panels, break the law and take away patient autonomy? PUBLIC WARNING!!!!

I lost both of my parents due to negligence from this hospital... I will not going back ever...If I only knew about the reviews from way before. I would drive them even in Toronto just not to be at William Osler...I blame myself for taking them there and I will forever regret it... From ambulance service to doctors....Pls. value the life of others

This is by far the worst hospital known to mankind. If you really care for your life do not come here

I had read so many bad reviews about Brampton Civic Hospital, and I did my best not worry about the fact that the surgery I needed would be done there because that's my doctor's hospital. What a wonderful surprise ! On the day of my surgery, everyone I dealt with was caring, extremely helpful , and professional. The man at registration helped me discover that I was eligible for a private room under my insurance plan. he did that by asking good questions and going the extra mile. Also, the entire procedure, from admittance to surgery was prompt, efficient, and seamless. The room was spacious with a great view. All the nurses were friendly, helpful, and caring. The hospital felt, at times, more like a hotel than a health care facility. I don't imagine that my experience was unique. I'm puzzled by all the negativity in the reviews I had read.

Veterinarian are better than doctors who works in brampton civic hospital

I was taken to Brampton Civic hospital by ambulance. The paramedics were so caring. Angela was so encouraging and friendly. Chris so nice and asked if I needed a blanket. My experience at the hospital was also so welcoming. My male nurse was so kind and went out of his way to help me. The woman doctor was also caring. Even the lady who brought me to get X-rays was so cheerful. The young lady at X-rays was so sweet and gentle. Overall experience was excellent.
