My wife died in 2009. Dr Sedhev, to me is not a doctor I could ever recommend . He is ignorant, arrogant, the biopsy was botched, all dead tissue unreadable. He was unsure what type of cancer we were dealing with and sent her home overdosed on morphine. He paid no attention to her or her case. I could expand a great deal more on the incompetence he showed. The whole situation was an example of Health Careless.

I saw Dr. Sedhev for dvt reasons but only received a letter from the hospital telling me to report to the oncology department. I was terrified and didn't know what to expect. The first words out of the doctor's mouth were assuring me that I wasn't there because I had cancer. After feeling relief from that, I was able to absorb everything the doctor shared with me. He has a wonderful bedside matter and in all appointments, made sure that I knew exactly what was going on with my case. When he didn't have the answers, he conferred with a haematologist at the McMaster clinic in Hamilton. At all times, this doctor made me feel like I was in the most capable hands, as did all the staff at this clinic. 6 years later this doctor made enough of an impression on me that I felt a need to comment here. Unfortunately he is only seeing oncology patients now so I have to see one if his colleagues, who I have been assured, is also a very good haematologist.

He is very assumptive , seemed arrogant. He wanted to do visual observation , the way he asked was in his own words "O you must be used to showing your b**bs to people now" I felt that was very unprofessional and unethical felt like reporting him to the college of physicians. There is no humor when a person is suffering from cancer.Appointment was for 2 pm and he came in 3 pm, This was my first meeting with him.

By far the worst doctor you will ever meet. Please do not let his sympathy act influence you in any way. He will only treat you and help you when things are going as planned . Once things get worse and your illness goes downhill, he will disappear or act like the biggest a hole to you. He might sounds so nice at first but trust me he is a really bad person and should not be in this field. Cancer patients need help and this is not the doctor for you. If I can give influence you at all, please change your oncologist ASAP if you have him. This hospital has some really great doctors and he is not one of them.

If you want to die, this is the perfect oncologist for you. He has no compassion and has a huge God complex. Don't you dare ask him about alternate therapies. Listen, your best chance of beating cancer in this country is to go to the US and pay your 6 figure bill. Dont leave your health in the hands of minor league doctors that are only concerned about getting the max chemo and radiation sessions to OHIP and then consider you a nuissance.

Dr. Sehdev doesnt know what he is doing. He cant even read a biopsy report. A week ago my father in law was diagnosed with lung cancer. It was early stages and easily treatable maybe even with a chemo pill. Three days after this diagnosis he was admitted to the hospital in horrible condition and as of yesterday was given 5 weeks because the cancer was in more than his lungs. Dr. Sehdev either doesn't know how to ready a biopsy report or he made the horrible mistake of mixing up the reports with is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Cancer diagnosis is hard enough on the patient and family without these kinds of mistakes being made. Brampton Civic Hospital gets a bad enough reputation without having incompetent doctors like this working there. Stay away from this guy.

Dr. Sedhev helped me after being diagnosed with Lymphoma. He is soft spoken, kind and helpful. He was also very prompt and made sure that all testing and treatments begin as quickly as possible. I only have good things to say about Dr. Sedhev, he was wonderful. The only recommendation I would make is that he be more open minded to integrative naturopathic treatments to assist with the side effects of the chemo or radiation, but this is truly only a minor consideration.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2012 and had Dr Sehdev as my oncologist. He was always very kind, warm and knowledgeable. His approach to me was to ask how much information I wanted him to tell me and he kept his word and told me everything. He responded to my questions and when I was having difficulty with the chemo he was very patient with me. I truly pray NEVER to have to endure this fight again for the rest of my life but I still have follow up appts with the good doctor and at least that is one of the good thing that came out of my fight with the DEVIL. When he told me I was cancer free he was just as happy for me as I was for myself.

Dr. Sehdev has treated me for CML for 6 years. He is very patient, thorough and has alot of knowledge on my type of cancer. I travel a great distance to see him. He has been great, so far.
