He is a great doctor if you have a serious problem. My relatives had cancer, stroke, heart attack and he took really good care of them, they all have good things to say about him. If you have a small problem, he doesn't do much but i like to see him just to make sure i am ok. He does not give you medicine or refer you to a specialist unless it is absolutely neccessary, which is good because i don't like doctors who give out drugs like it is Halloween. He is very serious and does not chit chat much but when i talk with him i can tell he is really smart and really cares about my health and how i am feeling.

he is our family doctor for past 8 years and there is not even one time that we are satisfied with him.he never follow up.never take care of my kids. he gave my 7 year old daughter antibiotics three times in a year and didn't want to send her to child specialist then i had to fight with him to refer my daughter to a specialist and specialist told me that Dr lum wasn't supposed to give my daughter antibiotics 3 times in a row.Front desk lady in his clinic is very rude and not friendly with kids.

He's been my doctor all my life. Everytime I got sick with a flu or cold when I was younger, i would go to him. He's taken care of my coughs, colds, flus, plantar warts, blisters and callouses. He doesnt give a lot of technical info, just what it is, and he will tell you what you need to do. You can ask him questions and he will answer them. He relies more on the "time heals all wounds" quote and doesnt give you medicine or whatever right away to get you out of the clinic. He'lll examine amd ask questions, and do little things to ease the pain or whatever is bothering you, but won't give some sort of fancy expensive healing process. Hedoesnt charge for examinations, and testing and little things usually dont cost anything.

Dr. Lum has been my family's primary care doctor for 7 years. He is always helpful and kind. He is knowledgeable, and professional. It seems some people on here are mad that he doesn't give them what they want, but that is not his job. He practices medicine, and does so very well. He has taken great care of us throughout many medical issues, including cancer care, infant health, colds and flu, broken bones rehab, asthma, and more. I trust Dr. Lum a great deal and have a lot of confidence in his medical opinions.

Dr. Lum is a very good doctor. He does not jump to prescribe medications to get you out of his office. He takes time and care, he allocates good time for his patients and does not book heavily like most doctors to get you out the door quickly. He is a bit quiet and that may come across negative at times.

He took care of me when I had cancer. Dr. Lum is excellent, one of the best. He organized alot of hospital tests and supportive care for me which I thought was helpful. He is very busy but the staff are efficient and they don't overbook appointments.

This Doctor misdiagnosed cellulitis and consequently caused hospital stay and iv antibiotics for 2 weeks. He does not order blood tests or follow up. He does not have much knowledge and waits too long before sending the patient to a specialist. I would not recommend this Doctor! Did you ever wonder why he has no waiting time!!!!He is useless!
