Jenny is the most rude secretary I have ever met. It takes 2 days to get a 2 minute appt in which the doctor does not even listen to you. This guy really should not be a doctor. He only wants you to keep seeing him so he can make money.

i would not recommend this doctor at all. Seeing him means you give up your life. we have known him for more than 5 years. He does not refer senior do any of the regular exam, not even a simple blood test. every time, my parents see him, he says that they are fine, they do not need it. My parents are 65 years old and have not have any of regular test any all.

Would you trust an uncaring, self-interested, and unprofessional person to be your doctor? 1) He does not care about his patients. I wait in the clinic for 20 minutes to see him for less 5 minutes. Most times, he sends me home telling me there's nothing wrong without even asking follow-up questions about any symptoms. 2) He is only interested in making money. My father took his newborn to get vaccinations that are paid for by the government. However, Edward Lum still charged a $60 consultation fee, which he claimed was an accident. How does a family doctor not know newborn vaccinations are free and such appointment are not classified as consultations?! 3) Edward Lum is unprofessional. When we confronted him about the "accidental" charge and told him we were going to file a complaint, he shouted over the phone and dared my father to make an official complaint to the government (which we gladly did). I'm guessing he is boosting his ratings with fake reviews. It's baffling to see him receive a 4.5 star.

Such doctor does not deserve 3.5 stars. Not knowledgeable and rude. I would give him zero stars if I can

He is my so call family doctor but I never go see him because I don't trust him in any way. I rather go to a walk in. I would definitely stay away from this doctor. He is not helpful at all, often rushes you out in 5 minutes without diagnosing the problem. He does not take the patients and their problems seriously.

It is unfortunate to have these doctors nowadays. He doesn't talk much. I'm not sure whether it is because he doesn't want to diagnose you properly, or if he is waiting for you to tell him all the details yourself. Visits are often less than 5 minutes and I seriously don't find him helpful. I have been given the same medication over and over again, even when its not working at all.

Run, don't walk from this doctor! He is so bad that I would like to report him. He pushed drugs on me for my anxiety, even though I told him I didn't want them. I had a terrible reaction to two of them, which ended with me being housebound for five months with suicidal thoughts and depression. When I tried to call him up on this, he said that he would do the same thing all over again. The plus is that he is punctual, but spending less than five minutes a patient would make him so. I have left very angry and frustrated every single visit. I would change in a heartbeat if I could find a doctor who is taking new patients.

This doctor is horrible. I went there and ask him to refer me for x-ray and blood test for nerve and inflamation issue and he said his receptionist will book an appointment for me. I waited for three months later and finally I got a phone call that they book me an appointment but it was too late because I decided to go to my other family doctor and got an appointment. Every time I went to him, his favorite line "just drink a lot of water and get a lot of rest and your immune system will get better. I stop going to him, my entire family (parents, aunt and grandparents) stop going to him since he doesn't diagnose anything. Good luck on getting him to prescribe you any medications or get any referrals
