Very good about appoitment and happy with results

dr.silverman's way of braces is very modern and fast. during appointments everything is so fast sometimes good and bad ways. he spends minimum amount of time with you. within 2 years have straight teeth. or at lest they appear that way. from the inside of my mouth i can feel some teeth sticking out. another thing that i was concerned about and asked many people about him is what the braces themselves look like. you have to ask to receive colors. they work at such a fast pace that they forget every time and you only get to have colored braces for less than a year ( at least in my case). Overall i do recommend this doctor. my only advice is to ask a lot of questions to get exactly what you want.

I have had braces for a year and six months now with Dr. Silverman and I have not had any problems .Staff was great and were always quick to fix anything bothering me. Dr. Silverman himself actually suggested I should wear my elastics longer to guarantee that my teeth wouldn't move. My teeth look amazing and I have Dr. Silverman to thank! Dr. Silverman himself would always check the work after anything was done on my braces and check in with me after to make sure i didn't have any complaints. My experience was great and I would recommend Dr. Silverman to any of my friends or family. I don't understand why all the negative comments but just wanted to say this office is awesome and thank you for the great smile! Also there is young lady Daisy that works there and she is incredible! I go in for a check up and she always changed my wires quickly and with out poking me or causing me any pain. I DO NOT recommend this orthodontist. My son had his braces on for 4 years!! They wouldn't see him unless his bill was paid on time. I understand that, but I also understand that you already got half of the payment which was $2,500 in the beginning! He finally got them off 6-7 months ago with a take home cheap plastic retainer that he "will have to wear for the rest of his life." Really???!! Needless, to say, his retainer (flimsy and transparent) was lost and now his bottom teeth have shifted. I was offered to purchase a set of bottom braces or a more expensive retainer at $300.00 that has a metal wire in that could be tightened. I asked about the permanent retainer (band inside lower teeth), and they said they don't do that, because that is the old-fashioned way of doing things. They also said that Dr. Silverman doesn't recommend it because you can get gum disease from it. ???? My other son was taken to Dr. Jayne Buttner and he will be getting his off in the two year time span with a PERMANENT brace on the bottom so they don't shift. I highly recommend her. They even sent me a reimbursement check for the amount of $1,400.00 because the insurance company ended up paying more for his treatment!!! Who does that? Her office. Amazing!!!

My daughter got her braces through Dr. Silverman. When her treatment was over I had stated to Dr. Silverman that her overbite was very visible. Now 2 years later we are still having problems with her OVERBITE!!! I have taken her other orthodontists and they all have said she would have to put braces on again. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM! I would say shopping around and its true. You get want you paid for!

We went in for a consultation and wanted to walk right out, but stayed and was not impressed. Assembly line type place and he did not even look in my two daughter's mouths at their teeth. He relied on pictures from a computer and kept saying computers never lie and referred to his certificates on his wall, as proof that he know what he's doing. He was trying to convince himself that he was a good orthodontist is the feeling I got. You get what you pay for. We won't be recommending him.

Dr Silverman was paid in full and on the last appointment fired my daughter from being his pt. We are unable to find another orthodontist in town to debond her braces as ABQ Short do not take in town transfers since its a very small ortho community. HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT GO!!!! I am filing complaints with the Dental board, attorney general, insurnce fraud since he has been paid in full and also the BBB.
