Presbyterian Urgent Care on Atrisco Dr.

I WAS THERE AT ATRISCO URGENT CARE THE WEEK OF OCT 2021 AND HAD MY PATIENT RIGHTS VILOATED. THEY SET ME UP FOR A STRP TEST WHEN I HAD NO SORE THROAT AND A COVID TEST IN THE NOSE WHEN I HAD NO EXPOSURE TO COVID AND HAD ALL MY COVID SHOTS AND BOOSTERS. WHAT WAS WORSE THE NURSE M. HAD SET THIS UP BEOFORE HAND AND KNEW ALL THIS BUT LEFT IT UP ANYWAY FOR THE DR.---THE DR CAMEE IN AND SAID I DON'T NEED IT. I WILL NEVER GO TO A CLINIC OR HOSPITAL WHERE THE RN NAMED M . IS WORKING. BECAUSE MY PATIENT RIGHTS WERE VIILOATED AND THE RN DID NOT EVEN TELL ME WHAT SHE WAS GOING TO DO, I WILL NEVER GO TO ASTRISCO URGENT CARE AGAIN. NOT EVER. ESPECIALLY WHEN RN M. IS WORKING. I AM NOT TAKING NO CHANCES ON THIS POORLY. RUN NURSES BY WHICH THE DOCTOR HAS TO COVER UP FOR THIS CRUMMY JOB OF THEM

My daughter was seen yesterday for a sinus infection and laryngitis, sent home with a $60 nasal spray prescription that she was informed NO INSURANCE would cover, and told she would need to come back today to be evaluated AGAIN in order to get an antibiotic. They PURPOSELY did not fully treat her just so they could soak her for another visit. The staff is rude and incompetent. They were snippy and spoke down to my daughter. Your business is shady and I will be reporting you to our insurance. You don't help people! There was NO reason to not fully treat my daughter in the first visit when you knew she would need the antibiotic!

The ER staff took my complaints seriously and I waited but a few m minutes, not like other ER's where I have waited as long as 16 hours for care. The staff seemed sincerely interested and made every effort to make me comfortable while diagnosing my condition. Everyone was polite and courteous. I did not feel uncomfortable and was impressed with the care and attention I received.
