Which Countries Rate Health Care as Top Concern?

Health care is prescribed differently no matter where you are in the world, from neighboring countries to halfway across the globe.  New research has shown that a quarter of people in countries spanning the world rank health care as one of most worrisome issues in their country.

A poll conducted by Ipsos found that out of 19,045 respondents from 24 countries, 23 per cent saw health care as one of the three biggest concerns in their country.

The countries that were most likely to indicate healthcare as a concern are Brazil (64%), Poland (58%), Canada (40%), the United States (37%) and Australia (35%.)

Those that were the least likely to worry over health care included South Africa (13%), Italy (11%), Indonesia (10%), India (9%), Argentina (8%), South Korea (7%), Mexico (6%) and Turkey (5%.)

The report also found that women tend to rate healthcare higher than men in both US and Australia, but less so in Canada, France and Great Britain.

Other concerns that rank over health care include unemployment and jobs (45%,) financial and political corruption (35%,) poverty and social inequality (34%) and crime and violence (31%.)
