I was on a trip to Banff and unfortunately contracted Shingles on the way. I get treatment at the local clinic, but still I end up with neuritis, abdomen and back has ''pins and needles'' pain, and the pain is unbearable.
Luckily for me a friend recommended a highly skilled TCM acupuncturist, Wen Qing Guo.
After the first treatment, the pain on the back and the abdomen was relieved immediately, and my whole body feels much more relaxed and comfortable. it feels amazing!
After three treatments, all my symptoms disappeared. What a wonderful recovery!

Wen is absolutely amazing and worth all the time and money! He is knowledgeable and take his time to ensure your treatment works for you and your issues. He is patient and I am always looking forward to my treatments. I was seeing Wen for lower back pain. I can honestly say that his treatments were very effective and at this point I no longer need treatments. I know that if my issue returns I can go to Wen and get great result with pain relief and in the end no pain at all. I had been suffering for almost a year until I found him. Highly recommend Wen. He is knowledgeable and experienced and is very client centred. I don’t feel like just another client to him - he remembers the health history and tailors his treatment to the specific issues previously discussed. Being new to acupuncture, he was patient and understanding of my apprehension and need for pressure/massage before inserting needles into areas that were more sensitive. I saw Wen for shoulder and neck pain and we are working on fertility concerns as well. I am grateful to have met Wen!

Wen is excellent with his approach in traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture in treating gynaecology issues. I visited Wen for my severe constipation problem, I tried other methods and medications before yet nothing worked. Wen treated me for 5 sessions, and he taught me some daily routines to do at home to improve my situation, now I have predictable bowel movements and I don't have any nausea and headache anymore, my appetite is better too. I have nothing be good things to say about Wen. I visited him at Align Bank street and he was very kind and listened in detail to my issues. What I liked best is he is VERY honest. Many places only seek to keep you coming back for more, which has been my experience in the past with acupuncture. That is far from the case with Wen. He gives you a VERY realistic estimate of how many treatments you'll need (in my case it was 3-4) and he was BANG on. I suffered from a torn shoulder and neck pain from weight lifting. I've seen massage, physio and other acupuncture with only mild results and the pain always came back after a short while. I saw Wen in November/December 2021 for my treatments and the pain has never returned, I left in fact feeling AMAZING. The best I've felt in years. I 100% would recommend and I will be seeing him again for my future pain and issues.

I have been treated by Wen over several months in 2021/2022 for more than one chronic issue. All of my symptoms improved over time, but due to chronicity some do re-occur but with lessening intensity, for which I re-treat successfully with Wen.

Wen is a great acupuncturist. He is knowledgeable, professional and extremely patient. He takes the time to explain in detail how he will treat you. I see Wen for my cramps and shoulder pain and I have been improving and feeling better ever since. I highly recommend Wen :)
