Waited in emergency for almost 8 hours before I was seen and was already frustrated, hungry and in pain.. was getting ready to chew off my doctor’s head as soon as they walked in but she started by acknowledging the wait, the failures of our broken system and apologised even tho it wasn’t her fault. Threw me off to be honest. She then listened to my concerns, was thorough, discussed a plan, gave me time to ask questions, brought me food and extra blankets. My rage went from 10 to zero in a matter of minutes. She diagnosed what my own doctor couldn’t and even set up appointments with my gynaecologist after. Was surprisingly a very good experience at St B even with the long waits. It’s a few days later and I’m still thinking about it..

I waited for almost 8 hours to be seen as the ER was quite busy… but it was worth the wait. I felt like my concerns were being dismissed by my family doctor so went to St B and within a few hours of seeing this doctor, I had my answers. I appreciated her thoroughness, kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend.

I echo prior comments and not surprised by the positivity. Was very fortunate to get this doctor. Despite seeing my own doctor twice before going to ER, she figured out almost immediately what the issue was and had me seen by a special surgeon right away. Once I got in to see her things ran very smoothly and I got the treatment I needed. Also very kind to other healthcare workers.. we hear everything through the curtains and this young lady knows how to treat people.

saw this dr in St Boniface ER and was quite impressed. She took the time to ask questions about my symptoms, sent me for some tests. She stated that she was very thorough and she wasn't kidding, which I appreciated. There was a bit of a mix up when it came time for me to be released, but that was most likely my misunderstanding. She eased my mind and worries, as well as the worries of my family and for that, I am truly grateful that I happened to get her when I went in. You are in good hands when with her.

Was scared to go to the ER from everything in the news lately but have to say it was a really good experience from start to end. Lovely nursing staff, everyone seems happy to be there and genuinely care about the patients, and excellent care from this doctor. Just the right amount of humour and warmth. If I have any issues in future, I will always go to St B.

I came to the ER after a fall at home. Ended up with a gash on my head and a minor brain bleed. Fixed up and admitted in the ER for a day to observe me and get more tests done. Everything seemed good so got the ok to go home. Excellent care all the way through. What really stood out is Dr Mccoll called me the following day to check in and make sure I had my appointment planned with my doctor. I have NEVER received a phone call after an ER visit. St Boniface provides the best care.

Went to my family doctor 5 times with concerns with weakness and breathing. Given antibiotics and all sorts of conclusions about the cause. Finally got fed up and went to ER. Saw this young doctor once and diagnosed with cancer within 2 hours. Hard pill to swallow but at least I know. She took my concerns seriously, spent time and asked questions and then got the important tests done. Got me set up with cancer care appointment right away too. Very good doctor.

Impressed with this doctor - actually thought she must be a surgeon with how well she fixed a large cut on my face after I fell off of my bicycle. It’s now 3 weeks later and the cosmetic effect is impeccable. My GP says he’s seen her work before as well and that she’s always good. If you ever need emergency care, this is a good one! Very good bedside manner as well!

Reassured me that it was ok to come get checked out in the ER even in these times with Coronavirus. Staff and doctor were all very kind and hardworking. God bless!
