This Doctor is absolutely amazing!!! Well worth the wait at Emgerg. Dr. Kalra went above and beyond! Truly an amazing human being.

Dr. Kalra took the time to understand my situation. He was very knowledgable and made sure I understood what was happening. He made a plan for me and referred me to a specialist, but gave me advice on what to do and where to go if something with that plan didn't work out. I was so impressed with his care, it didn't bother me that I had to wait so long at selkirk ER. I could see Dr. Kalra running around working faster and more efficiently than anyone else in the place. The nurse who took my vitals right before my visit with Dr. K was also stellar and listened to me and suggested additional tests to rule out absolutely everything that could be involved with my symptoms.

Excellent Doctor! He reminds me of the old school doc's from long ago. He took his time with you and explained everything and wanted to know everything related to my issue. He'll tell you straight up if he's baffled with trying to figure out what's going on, but he'll also refer you to the right specialist. Don't leave Selkirk Dr. Kalra!

I was very impressed with everything about Dr Ruben Kalra when he attended to my dad at Selkirk ER about a month ago. Not only did he go above and beyond with the breathing issue my dad had originally gone in for but when another unrelated health issue came up during discussions, Dr Kalra asked question after question until he had enough background information to make an informed suggestion for further recommended testing. He seemed generally concerned about my dad’s health as a whole as opposed to just being concerned about what was the one issue at the moment. Amazing doctor! (He also apologized for keeping us waiting when he returned from leaving mid-visit to attend to a higher priority emergency.)

Excellent! In one visit he had my non verbal autistic son diagnosed with a treatment plan for a problem that others had misdiagnosed for a year. Thank you so much Dr. K for listening to us parents.
