Very good and she listens. She was empathetic with me. The anti depression is working. It’s a long road of healing but I am lucky I am with Dr Hassan.

She was caring and understanding of my situation. First she called me almost weekly when the lock down didn’t let us go anywhere.
She took the time to explain to me the drugs and some tricks to help me when I am panicking.
After the lock down, I saw her in person in her office. Her staff specifically Melissa is very nice. There are plenty of parking spaces. Good experience overall.

This doctor changed my meds, increased my meds every 2 weeks, and when I started to have negative effects ignored me for months. I ended up wanting to end it all as this is a KNOWN side effect of the meds I was put in by her. I had to work with my gp and pharmacist to get off of these meds safely because she refused to see me and when I told her I needed to see her it was an emergency she told me “you’re an adult you need to learn to deal with things when they don’t go your way.”
When she finally saw me after 3 months of rescheduling me or flat out refusing to see me I was upset. I told her such and while I did raise my voice I didn’t yell and never approached her from my chair. She told me to leave, didn’t give me a chance to get up and called security on me. If someone more fragile had been in my position that day it might have been a tipping point for self harm. She shouldn’t have a licence. I am posting this 2 years after the fact. I have had plenty of time to calm down, file a report to her superiors, and filed a complaint with the hsc. I can’t stress enough to never see her. Ignoring your desperate patients is unacceptable.

I saw many psychiatrists in my life. She is one of the best. Listens and very empathetic and caring. No complaints.

I love what Dr. Hassan has done to me. Over the past year I was talking with her, she was always there for me. She forever changed my life. No words can express my gratitude towards Dr. Hassan. It is such a loss that she is closing her practice here in Winnipeg.

Dr. Hasan was very kind and understanding. She got to the root of my problem, many other psychiatrists could not, for that I am extremely grateful. This has changed my life. She really cares and did not end our appointment until she heard everything I needed to get off my chest, we went slightly overtime. She is a great doctor and treats patients like human beings, I never felt like a number with her. Thank you Dr. Hasan for your compassion and experience.
