He was my OB for my second son. He is amazing.!

He made my C-section not as scary as it seems.
I would recommended him to anyone.

Had my hysterectomy done by Dr. Sklar on January 9th surgery was smooth and recovery is going great . Dr. Sklar is very informative.
It Was a 4 year struggle To find a gynecologist, that was willing to listen to me the do the hysterectomy I was requesting all other gynaecologist brushed me off. R said It wasn't necessary or took it upon themselves to not put in my referral to a surgical gynecologist, until pressured by my gp once referred to Dr. Sklar it was just under a year and a half from my first appointment to surgery and I couldn't be happier dr sklar made sure my decision was well informed and that I was set up for a successful surgery
I would highly recommend Dr. Sklar to anyone

Absolutely LOVED my experience with him. He is one of a kind person and doctor. Theres just something very special about him. He delivered my son via c section and was just so calm with me. He was also my doctor throughout my whole pregnancy and I’m so happpy I had him. My daughter LOVED him and he really enjoyed having her at my appointments as well. Thank you dr Sklar!

Walked in the door for my appointment, and was greeted with his friendly receptionist. She took a bit of information from me, and I sat down for maybe two minutes. Was called up to check into the room. I maybe waited three more minutes for him to come in. I discussed my concerns with him about having my ovaries out because of a history of ovarian cancer in our family. He was attentive and listening to my concerns and he’s booking me in for surgery. He is an awesome Doctor Who actually listens to their patients.
I would highly recommend him. The only downfall was I had to wait six months to get into him on a referral from my family doc. That is our healthcare system. No faults of his at all.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sklar to ANYONE and everyone! I switched to Dr. Sklar mid pregnancy after a horrible experience with a different Obgyn at another hospital and I cannot rave about Dr. Sklar enough. With my original OB, she usually ran late, I always felt rushed, my questions were never fully answered (which was nerve wracking for a first time pregnancy), and I left in tears after every appointment as this doctor had a horrible bedside manner. (She made cracks about my weight gain, saying to "swap cheesecake for some carrot sticks" and made me feel as though I was a high risk pregnancy, when I was not.) I dreaded each appointment and it was recommended to me to change doctors as this is not the type of experience one should have to endure.

After speaking with my family GP, he referred me to Dr. Sklar and what a difference!!! Dr. Sklar has a VERY calm bedside manner, but is also kind, respectful, and has a great sense of humor. He is ALWAYS on time (I have never had to wait more than ten minutes, IF at all). I am always impressed with the additional details he remembers off the top of his head, especially being he is so busy and sees so many patients. During my pregnancy, Dr. Sklar always made time to answer any questions I had, eased all of my anxieties, but still took every one of my concerns seriously. I felt I could be very open with him and always left my appointments feeling joyful and confident. At 34 weeks, I had taken a fall, so we went to the hospital to be checked. Dr. Sklar made a special effort to come check in on us during his hospital shift, which was most appreciated.

Even during scary situations, he is VERY calming and I have always felt that we were in the best hands. I have continued to see Dr. Sklar as my gynacologist since my first pregnancy and without question, want him to be our doctor for any future pregnancy. Changing obgyns to Dr. Sklar was the BEST decision I could have made and can't recommend him enough.

I had a complicated pregnancy, Dr. Sklar made me feel confident that I could ask any questions I needed to at each appointment. The office staff was also very friendly and accommodating with scheduling appointments. I had issues at the end of my pregnancy and Dr.Sklar oversaw my visit at the hospital up to and including my operation. Dr. Sklar performed my c-section and we had a healthy baby. I am very thankful to have had such a great doctor follow me through this journey. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything Dr.Sklar!

I have been so grateful to have Dr. Sklar as my OBGYN. He is very knowledgeable and has gone out of his way to provide me with the best care possible. I’ve appreciated having him by my side through my pregnancy journeys. I trust everything that he has done for us, and felt very calm in the delivery room, with him guiding the process. He always took the time to answer any questions we had, and made me feel important and prioritized during each visit. Dr. Sklar is a very experienced doctor who performs his job with grace and ease. I highly recommend and can’t wait until our paths cross again for future pregnancies.
His office at Kingsway is great. His receptionist, Amber, is responsive and friendly, and I always felt like family when attending my appointments. There was never a long wait time during the appointments.

Dr Sklar was my regular OB and I was also lucky enough to have him deliver my daughter while he was on call. He's a fantastic doctor, super laid back and addressed my concerns . He was super patient with me as I am high anxiety. Thankful is an understatement.
