Dr Sklar was my regular OB and I was also lucky enough to have him deliver my daughter while he was on call. He's a fantastic doctor, super laid back and addressed my concerns . He was super patient with me as I am high anxiety. Thankful is an understatement.

I was lucky to have my OB (Dr. Sklar) as the one to deliver my baby in the hospital. He was extremely professional and handled the situation with confidence and care. I was worried about the baby and how I was going to give birth since the baby was facing upwards and it was causing some back pain for me and difficulty with pushing. The baby is healthy and happy and I could not be more thankful.

I first met with Sklar fall 2020. He agreed to do a hysterectomy due to my adenomyosis and paperwork was signed. Due to the pandemic, I am still waiting, not his fault. I did reach out to set up an appointment as I started having other female issues and based off of my research, I felt that I was also suffering from endometriosis. He refused to see me and told the receptionist to tell me that I didn't have endo as it didn't show up on my ultrasound and my MRI from two years ago. I went to a different doctor who did a laparoscopy (generally the only way to find endo unless you have very deep lesions) and they did find that I have endo in several places. So I am currently suffering from pain with both endo and adeno and still waiting for treatment.

Dr. Sklar is my favourite doctor I’ve ever had! I wish he was my family doc because he is so knowledgeable, caring, and easy going! He alleviates any anxieties that I have. I’ve had a few complications throughout my pregnancies and he has always given me plenty of options, and extra tests and care. He is super chill, and an overall nice guy who is professional and cares for his patients. Love his new location and staff as well! They all know who I am and are always super friendly.

Had a bad run in with this doctor seen him a few times, had fairly good rapport, until we disagreed with treatment then he kinda lost his temper with me cut me off short and basically told me I was pretty lucky to even have options… I went in here to see if any other women had experienced the same…?

I was referred to Dr. Sklar by a family physician. In the beginning I really enjoyed him as he was very polite and easy going. They were very basic visits but I did notice he seemed to always be running behind so I did have to wait. I did have to ask a lot of questions or I wouldn’t be told anything. I started to get multiple issues during my pregnancy and the office was always unable to accommodate a request to come in and see the doctor. I tried leaving messages with my questions but would have to wait a long time for a response. I ended up having to go to emergency and walk in clinics instead. For me this was just not a good fit, I feel he was too busy to take on more patients. I think he would be a good doctor for someone who is not having complications otherwise I feel he may be too busy to provide proper care. A lot of my appointments were pushed back or changed multiple times which I found very inconvenient. The disconnect between visits resulted in my issues getting significantly worse.

Dr. Sklar is such an amazing OB/GYN. This is my third pregnancy but first time being under Dr. Sklar's care and I have to say, he is the most caring, personable and knowledgeable doctor I've had. His staff are friendly and every appointment I've been seen on time or at worst 5-10 minutes late. Compared to other doctors where I've waited over an hour and had little to no personality or actual care from the doctor. I am so grateful to have Dr. Sklar for this pregnancy!
