Dr. Olga is the best Dr. I've had and I am in my 70's. She is always prepared , knowledgeable , as timely as is possible and quick to refer if needed . She likes to get to the bottom of the problems and quickly follows up from tests . Add being a good listener and I feel I have the whole package for a family Dr.

I had to leave Dr Olga and find a new doctor. Unfortunately, as I would have loved to stay with a female doc in cochrane and close to home.
There were a few things that I found irritating, but were tolerable. The final straw, and what caused me to changed dr’s was when I had a follow up call with her. I just had a baby and was struggling with what came across as Post Partum Depression. I was however, desperately trying to get her attention that I was in fact in a dangerous domestic violence situation with my newborn (my ex was ever present during appts). When the follow up appt came it was over the phone, and I stepped outside of the house (ex decided to take a shower and I took the babe out on the deck with me while I had the appt), and I told her outright (in a soft tone of voice so my ex couldn’t hear)- I am in a domestic abuse situation and fear for the life of my baby and my life, I’m working on how I can safely leave.
I swear to god her response “well, you’re talking slower and quieter, and that’s a sign that your likely suffering from some post partum depression, I will prescribe you x” and nothing else.
I was so shocked. I could not have been any more clear, and that was her response.
Of course I was depressed, of course I was talking quieter, and slower- I didn’t want her to miss what I was saying and I wanted to be clear while not alerting my ex in case he was trying to listen from an open window. My daughter and I needed help.
I also took my baby in to see her (prior to this phone call I mentioned), who was crying far more than what would be considered normal. She was also showing signs of jaundice, I took her in to see Dr Olga. I was patronized with the comment “well babies cry”. Of course they cry, but she’s discoloured and seems to be in pain.
Took her to the hospital that same day and we were there for 5days getting treatment for jaundice and we were told she had a bad case of colic and some GI issues.
I was so relieved to finally have some idea of what was going on with my first born, and could finally find ways to make her a bit more comfortable.
I still feel upset about it. I don’t recommend her for this reason. Her staff aren’t always very kind or patient. And she herself can be really cold one appt, decent another. You don’t really know what you’re going to get.

Dr. Olga has been our Family Physician for many years now. She always displays nothing short of excellence with her professionalism, a broad base of knowledge, cultural and gender/sexuality sensitivity and inclusion. Despite her clinic being in high demand for services , she still displays empathy and responds to questions we have regarding our health and wellness. Her staff members are pleasant, helpful and punctual with questions and reminders. I hold nothing but the highest regard and appreciation of her being my Family Physician.

Dr. Olga is amazing and my whole family has been in her care for a number of years now. We followed her from Calgary to Cochrane and recently had to move up North. I'm truly sad to lose her as a family doctor. She's respectful, attentive and supportive and really wants to understand the root of the issue, which I appreciate very much. I will dearly miss her as my family doctor.
