Dr. Kula is both professional and personable. My diagnosis was difficult to ascertain but with patience and the right tests, Dr. Kula was able to find the issue and then quickly treat. Dr. Kula was very objective and explained everything with clarity.

Excellent physician and staff. Always been on time, has helped immensely with my condition. Unfortunately, there is only so much he can help with my headaches but has helped me through all of my other medical conditions. Front staff went above and beyond to accommodate my visit. Thank you!

This doctor is very professional and knowledgable and takes the time to explain exactly what he is doing When the test were complete it takes the time to explain everything and gives you a prognosis. Excellent doctor

I have Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. I was referred to Dr Kula after a negative experience with my previous neurologist. My previous neuro was not interested in problem solving and I wanted someone who is. Dr Kula did more for me in one appointment than my old neuro had in three years. He ordered a battery of new tests and also changed my medications, which made a massive difference. He also sat and actually *listened* to me, taking notes the whole time--looking at me and asking questions, instead of staring at a computer screen for the whole appointment. I always feel as though he's actually listening to me. He doesn't brush off my concerns and questions, but listens and answers me. Also when I went for my EEG appointment the EEG tech was raving about how much they love him and how involved he is in his patients' testing, more than the other doctors. I've been seeing him for a year now and am much happier with him than my previous neuro.

I was very disappointment with my visit with Dr. Kula, I went after reading his patients' reviews. I went for my occipital headaches but he insisted that I have migraines and all he wanted to do was give me botox injections. I told him that I cannot afford these and they are not covered by my insurance but it did not matter to him. I wanted to go for a follow up as my headaches and neck pain was getting worse but he relayed a message via his not helpful reception that if I am not going to get botox done he does not want to see me. I insisted as my pain from the neck was going down my back and shoulders and when I went he was not interested to see me and whichever medication I asked him to consider e.g. lidocaine so I can rub and numb the pain, he told me he does not know how to prescribe. I suffer from related illness for which I brought printed research information which he ignored and then I asked would he at least send me for a nerve block (I have had these done before) and he sent a requisition to SPH radiology. I went there thinking this is for my occipital neuralgia but it was for pain going to my arm on right side. I could not believe this, it was as if he never listened to my complaints as he never examined my neck or anything as I cannot even turn my neck due to so much and nausea. Thank God I have wonderful physio and massage therapists who have been helping me. I am just going to see my FD and ask her to write a requisition for a neck procedure and find another neurologist.

Dr. Kula is exceptional at what he does and extremely down to earth. I have seen a lot of doctors and neurologists and wish they were all like him. He does whatever he can to limit how many in office visits you need. He thinks outside the box and does not discriminate neurological conditions. If I could give this doctor an award for his service and professionalism, I would. Thank you Dr Kula.

He’s very nice, interested in his patient and knowledgeable. I have never met or spent time on the phone with less interested, more inept or less professional front desk staff. They do not, in any way, represent a professional’s front of office.
