Had a horrible experience, was told he would refer a MRI, then told he didnt say that when I waited the few months by his secretary. In the appointment he said he would, we dicusssed the time it would take, he explained it was about two months due to the nature of the MRI, he answered other questions, so why did he change his mind and LIE?

How lucky I was to have Dr Kula as my third (!) neurologist. He was the only one to BELIEVE my debilitating symptoms, perform a thorough assessment, order the proper tests and after ruling out all other neuro disorders, he stood by his diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (which the other two neuros would not acknowledge exists). Now I could move on. I became part of the CCDP (Chronic Complex Diseases Program at Women/childrens hospital in Vancouver) only because I had an official diagnosis. As of writing (Sept/23), I have just completed the year long CFS program and though I will never be cured, I now have tools to manage this monster. So Many Thanks to Dr Kula!!!!

Went to Dr. Kula looking for a potential nerve problem, he ordered a few additional tests, found a tumor and referred me to a surgeon! Thank you for taking the extra step doctor!

Very Busy office!!! Dr Kula has been treating me for the last 4 years, it might take some time for me to get an appointment but I refuse to transfer my care to a neurologist closer by. Dr. Kula is so kind and knowledgeable, he diagnosed and treated my epilepsy right away. I sent an email on a Friday night and heard back on a Saturday morning. I was astonished that a specialist office has someone working on a weekend.

I switched to Dr. Kula and he is fantastic. Highly intelligent and up to date on the latest meds, also has gone above and beyond in suggesting newer meds (Brivlera) that my old neurologist did not. This makes a huge difference in my life, and he has had some poor performing staff but that isn't a reflection on him as a professional. No big deal if I need to call twice- I'd rather have a top notch neurologist than a top notch person answering the phone.

Dr. Kula and his staff are just fantastic! I felt as if Dr. Kula really took interest in listening to what I have to say and respected with the method of treatments I was willing and not willing to trial. The ladies are fantastic, they took the time to call me for my appointment and explain the appointment and really understood my anxiety behind the visit. The overall visit was a 10/10 and everyone was just so pleasant to deal with. Dr. Kula really took the time and got to the bottom of my neuromuscular disorder that could not be picked up by 2 other neurologists. More doctors and personable office staff are needed in healthcare. Thank you so much Dr. Kula & team!

I have been seeing Dr Kula for almost two years and find him excellent in ALL respects. He is a most thoughtful person who cares about you as a total person and patient. His compassion and concern for his patients and their worries is exemplary. You leave each visit with renewed confidence in your health and the steps to take to make it so , or better than it is at present. I look forward to the reassurance he provides and the confidence to follow his directions in caring for yourself.
