There are not enough words to give Dr Keys the praise he deserves. From the moment I met him I felt confident he could help me. I have suffered for 10 years with bone-on-bone osteoarthritis in both knees which has increased significantly in pain intensity over the years to the point where I had almost completely lost any quality of life. I could not stand for more than a few minutes or walk more than a few metres and had signficant night pain resulting in significant lack of sleep. I had previously tried anti-inflammatories which led to kidney damage, pain killers which only took around 5% of the pain away, cortisone shots and Durolane injections, all of which only lasted a week. Dr Keys was so reassuring and confident in his approach, and just a really lovely guy, so down to earth and non-judgemental. He suggested and recently performed radiofrequency neurotomy on the genicular complex of the left knee and after a settling in period of around two weeks, I'd have to say this has been life-changing. I now have gone from pain of 9-10/10 to 4-5/10 and have much better mobility and sleep. I am looking forward to having the right knee done as well in another month. Thank you Dr Keys, you are truly amazing and I will be forever grateful for your care.

When I was referred to
Dr Matthew Keys I was in a significant amount of chronic pain , suffering a range of different injuries.
Including shoulder impingement syndrome
L5 slipped disc
Sacroiliac joint dysfunction
Bursitis in the greater trochanter

I had been suffering for over a year with no treatment really working. The medications had awful side effects with no real relief

The pain was causing so much trouble that I was depressed
I was unable to work or even drive my car and it was looking like surgery was the only option left

I’ve been under Matthew since June last year, his treatment plan which also included a holistic approach ,
medications that caused very low side effects that were also tolerable
I went on to have
Nerve radio frequency ablation of both SI joints
Supa Scapular Nerve block on my shoulder

My pain has reduced so dramatically, I’m now able drive I’m back at work my pain score has gone from a pain score sitting at 7/8 to a low 3/4

I can go as far as to say it has been life changing
I’m so extremely happy and thankful to Matthew for all he has done

I hold Dr Keys in high regard he is very professional , extremely knowledgeable he also has a wonderful caring bed side manner he is , approachable , very attentive and down to earth.
He really listens to you !

Although the clinic can be busy at times , I have never been or felt rushed at all.
Even if I had lots of questions or needed something explained again
Matthew has on my occasions gone over and beyond ensuring that I was able to be booked in at short notice or to rush through prescriptions or reports

Hooray to dr keys and his staff. Alana,jackelyn and Sam. I have suffered from nerve pain (burning in feet) for many years. I spoke with dr Matthew who discussed many options to help relieve this pain.
His professionalism is 2nd to none along with also being a dr you can relate too. I took his advice and after many years I can say my nerve pain has reduced by %80. Thank you once again Dr Mathew and team.

I have had a chronic neck condition for along time , it has affected my life considerably. Dr Keys and his reps Christina and Gerry are a godsend. They are genuine people who are thoughtful, understanding and totally professional. They all give you hope and positive energy that through their intervention my quality of life will improve.

If I could give Dr Matthew Keys a 10 star review, I certainly would. After many months of pain and investigative tests, I was referred to a Neurosurgeon who had performed spinal surgery on me 13 years ago. My Neurosurgeon explained that as I had several issues affecting my spine, surgery was not an option as the success rate was low and the surgery major. He referred me to see Associate Professor Matthew Keys who is a Pain Specialist.
Right from the first few moments, I realised that Dr Keys was very special. He quickly and effectively diagnosed two new issues. He had a short and long term plan for me and I felt confident that he was in the right track.
I had the recommended investigative tests which were positive, he then performed longer term procedures.
After being in pain for so long, I am guessing that I now have 10-20% pain depending on what I'm doing compared to the terrible my pain I was constantly experiencing day and night before seeing Dr Keys. Before my first consultation I required strong painkillers which were ineffective. I was mobilising less and had given up working plus caring for our toddler grandson one day a week. I am now getting back to work, housework and looking forward to resuming my Nanna duties. Life is so much better and my friends have said that I look younger - it's amazing how debilitating and aging pain made me.
I am so grateful for Dr Keys expertise. He is a kind, sincere man who is incredibly talented yet down to earth and approachable.

After being left with multiple injuries after a Domestic Violence incident, I was referred to Dr Matthew Keys, I was told I will have a life of tremendous nerve pain and will not be able to work in my chosen field, Dr Keys was not having a bar of that outcome and preceded to put an Abbot Spinal Stimulator in my neck and after 18 mths of desperate attempts to fix my nerve damage, I can proudly say I now have full feeling back in my arm/hand I have absolutely no neck pain and am able to return to
