Finding Dr Leonardi was hands down the best thing that ever happened to me. After being gas lit by many doctors for over 15 years, being prescribed all sorts of medications and being told to ‘see a shrink’, thanks to Dr Leonardi and his team I have a definitive diagnosis. It wasn’t all my in head. It wasn’t just ‘a bad period’. I wasn’t crazy. The diagnosis has empowered me with knowledge and I could not be more grateful. Everyone on his team is knowledgeable, takes the time to explain things properly and answer questions without making you feel rushed. I would highly recommend anyone who suspects having endometriosis to see Dr Leonardi and his team.

He was the only one who accurately diagnosed me with PCOS, endometriosis, and adenomyosis. A thank you message!
I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Leonardi and his amazing team for everything that they do. He performed a laparoscopic myomectomy on me and It would be an understatement but him and his team changed my life. For 7 years I was suffering without anyone paying even a slightest attention to my deteriorating physical and mental health due to my fibroid. I got used to being tired, bleeding incessantly for 15 days, suffering from debilitating pain, feeling sick all the time. I felt sad for myself and also for all the other wonderful women out there who are suffering just like me. It’s a shame that women health are always taken for granted and there is little to zero focus on menstrual health. But it all changed for me when I was referred to Dr. Leonardi. He was very quick to diagnose my issue and suggested surgery. His team kept in touch with me throughout the process to guide me and make sure I’m healthy enough to go through the surgery. I felt so much at ease because each and every member of his team is simply amazing. I cannot thank him and his wonderful team enough because they have given me my life back. This minimally invasive procedure has had such a huge impact on my mental health. I feel energetic, my body feels better, and I feel normal and it’s all because of him and his team. I can't thank or recommend Dr. Mathew Leonardi and his team after seeing him today. After 8 Years of being diagnosed with unexplained infertility, within seconds of my scan starting I was finally given an answer. Although answers like these are not easy to hear, Dr. Leonardi was so informative while being compassionate to my circumstances. I have learned more about my body in this appointment than I have in the countless tests I have undergone in the past 8 years through multiple fertility clinics. He finally has given me hope in this dark tunnel of pain I have been living in for decades. He promptly sent over my results to my referring OBGYN who called me even before I arrived home. Dr. Leonardi and his team deserve 50 stars!! I’ve been suffering from endometriosis for almost 10 years, upon my first visit he made me feel seen, is so incredibly knowledgeable, so kind, and a true master of his field! He gave me options for treatment, in which I chose to have a hysterectomy that he just performed 8 weeks ago and feel like my life has completely changed in the best way possible. Recovery was smooth and follow up care was impeccable! I’ve been to other doctors over the years, had multiple surgeries, and I didn’t think I’d ever find such an INCREDIBLE doctor who cared so much about his patients and what he does, I can’t thank Dr. Leonardi and his team enough for taking away my chronic pain and changing my life! Dr. Mathew Leonardi is one of the best doctors I have ever met. The level of knowledge he possesses about endometriosis is outstanding. He knows very well about his patients - how they feel, their suffering which many other doctors fail to understand. His staff is amazing, they are always punctual with the appointments whether it is telephonic or in-person. I have had both telephonic and in-person appointment with Dr. Leonardi. Whatever the appointment is, he is always at his best - helpful, concerned about the well being of his patients. Due to his abundant knowledge about the disease, he knows which treatment to give in which scenario. I have stage 5 endometriosis and my kidney had issues, my bowel was also affected. He had involved urologist, colorectal surgeons in my surgery to provide me the best treatment available. He did whatever he could do to save my kidney. Had I not met him, I really don't know where my life and health would have been. I was advised to consult a psychologist for my severe pain. Dr. Leonardi is the one who understood my problems, sufferings; did the accurate diagnosis and finally operated me which was the need of the hour. Doctors like him are rare to see and it's really a privilege for me to have him as my doctor. Thank you Dr. Leonardi for all your help, guidance and support.

I have had both a telephone and in-person visit with Dr. Leonardi’s clinic. Background: I was diagnosed with an endometrioma 7 years ago. I have been seen by 2 gynaecologists and went through 2 years of fertility treatments prior to seeing them.

Prior to my first telephone call with the Endometriosis Clinic I received a questionnaire. It went through basics like demographics, pain, symptoms but also dove deep into the psychosocial parts of endo (eg was I so bloated it affected the clothes I can wear?). For the first time I knew I found a place who understood what I was going through.

My phone call was thorough. I left with a few recommendations and a plan for imaging. The recommendations were helpful and I was able to gain some mobility back and start running again (I ran marathons prior to endo).

In person, I was saw Dr. Tigdi, an advanced fellow. He was very kind, calm and respectful. I have had many internal vaginal ultrasounds and this was by far the most gentle one. I usually am bedbound in pain a few days afterwards. It’s been 4 days and I’ve been able to do normal activity and maintain running 7 km daily. The ultrasound co-related all my symptoms with findings of endo. I finally had validation of everything I feel.

Everything was explained clearly and I was even asked what did I hope to get out of this. Once I made my treatment decision I was offered a follow up appointment should I change my mind or have further questions. They spent over an hour with me. At no point did I feel rushed or unvalued - I was their sole attention for that time. They actually gave me confidence to make the decision that made sense to me and to tackle my pain.

I work in healthcare and know this is unusual. Appointments are rushed because physicians have huge patient loads in our crippling system. This clinic is growing a new kind of physician and patient experience. I am so happy I had the opportunity to be seen in this clinic. Thank you so much Dr. Tigdi, Dr. Leonardi and the rest of the clinic.
