I am fortunate to be one of leonardi's patients. He is the fifth doctor i saw on my journey to getting properly treated with fibroids there will not be sixth! He was the first doctor i met who really believe and listening to his patients ,take the time to explain each step of the treatment process , answer questions . If you are one of those women that had been told many times that the only solution is to get rid off the fibroid is to lose your healthy uterus with a hysterectomy please go see him to make the best choice on your health . He and his team and clinic displays genuine care and passion for helping women . Highly recommending him and all his team . Drove from London on , to see him was so worth it!!

Im very pleased with how dr Leonardi handled my situation..I had large fibroids that were causing me discomfort, I went in to have a procedure that led me into an emergency situation, and Dr.Leonardi handled it with perfection , he had to perform an emergency hysterectomy, everything went smooth and I'm recovering very well, and happy that he looked after me so good.. I have nothing but good things to say about him... I just wish I would have found him earlier... he's very patient and explains things very well...I highly recommend him.

Waited over 3 hours to see him which sucked but he did apologize for that, and I know it's because he doesn't rush his patients. His ultrasound skills gave me some answers to explain my chronic pelvic pain, he was super kind and knowledgeable, and he made sure I was comfortable with the treatment plan. Overall I'm very happy with my experience with him, and highly recommend him to anyone who suspects endometriosis or adenomyosis!

Highly recommend Dr. Leonardi. My doctor has continuously dismissed my pelvic pain and infertility. I believed I had symptoms and pressed my doctor and fertility specialist for testing for pcos and endometriosis. They kept telling me nothing was wrong and there was no evidence (as recent as 2 weeks before my appointment with dr. Leonardi). He was able to confirm I have pcos follicles. It feels so relieving to finally have a diagnosis. I am so impressed with the medical history they reviewed, the way he listened and explained things to me. I’m hesitant to recommend because that may mean longer wait times for my follow ups haha, but I truly cannot recommend or thank him enough. One visit with him has changed my life, and given me answers I’ve pursued and have been dismissed for years. I’m hopeful the pain I experience will improve over time with the treatment options he provided.

Dr Leonardi and his team provide exceptional care at the McMaster Endometriosis Clinic. I visited the clinic in person in November 2020. I was impressed with the expertise and compassion of Dr. Hanan Alsalem (Physician Fellow). She was very respectful and thorough with her examinations during my visit. Dr. Alsalem made me feel very comfortable during my appointment.

Dr. Leonardi was very thorough and knowledgeable with his examination of me as well. He was kind and patient during our interactions. Dr. Leonardi was a patient teacher when instructing Dr. Alsalem.

I am very impressed by the multi-disciplinary approach that this clinic provides. They have extensive knowledge of pelvic floor dysfunction and lifestyle modifications which can help a patient manage their conditions. I appreciated having multiple treatment options presented to me and being able to make a well-informed decision for next steps.

Since this appointment, Dr Alsalem has called me personally to follow up regarding additional problems and I received a same day response. Her level of concern was much appreciated.

Also, I have had a follow up phone call appointment with Dr. Leonardi. He is following me closely for my condition. Dr. Leonardi communicates in a way that is easy for me to understand and he is careful to ensure that he has answered all of my questions.

Since taking additional medications, seeking pelvic floor physiotherapy and doing other lifestyle changes, the majority my symptoms are gone and my quality of life has greatly improved.

I think that Dr. Leonardi and his team are on the right track with their approach to women’s health. I sincerely hope that this clinic continues to grow.

I have had two interactions with this doctor. Once in 2013 and more recently in 2021. Dismissive and disrespectful. This doctor had no regard for me as a patient. He ultimately violated my right to privacy and confidentiality. Please dont go to him. This is the second time I am writing this rating, patients have the right to know the good and bad about a doctor .

I can’t say enough about Dr. Leonardi and his team! Upon meeting him for the first time, I knew immediately that I was in great hands. While other doctors dismissed me, Dr. Leonardi understood me, heard me and wanted to help me. I’m forever grateful to have been referred to him and recommend him to whomever will listen. Dr. Leonardi’s level of expertise and passion for helping women far surpassed my expectations. I had my laparoscopic hysterectomy in Dec 2020. I wasn’t scared. I wasn’t nervous. I had an immense amount of confidence in Dr. Leonardi and his team and they took amazing care of me! Thank you, thank you! You changed my life!!

I never leave reviews on anything, especially for things in the medical field as I have had horrible experiences with previous doctors. Dr. Leonardi changed my life - I had been struggling with pelvic pain for 8 years, I was told by multiple GPs and gynecologists that I had a weak pelvic floor causing pain with "potential endometriosis". The only treatment I ever received was being put on an IUD to try and help with the pain, which didn't work. I was then told by gynecologists after that the pain was caused from the IUD, even though it started much before. I was anxious, depressed and consistently scared with why I had significant pain on my left side and constant bleeding with nobody being able to really tell me what was going on. I had over 10 ultrasounds prior to my appointment with Dr Leonardi, none of them "showed anything". One appointment with Dr. Leonardi and he found PCOS follicles on both ovaries with a large hemoraghic cyst on my left side that appears to be reoccurring. I am forever grateful that we are able to finally identify what was going on, and more than that, I was so impressed by Dr. Leonardi's bedside manner and his full understanding of the mental health issues that come along with fear of the unknown. He emphasized that he wants to take a more progressive approach with gynocology, and ensure that patients are educated on their problems, rather than just being treated with no answers. I am finally able to move forward with my life and stop worrying that everytime I get pain I have something seriously wrong. I can't recommend going here enough if you have been struggling to find answers.

This doctor single-handedly gave me more hope than any other doctor I've encountered for my chronic pain. I have had countless tests, been through a handful of referrals and heard the disappointing words 'We didn't find anything' too many times. I know it's not doctor's fault that issues in the pelvic region are difficult to diagnose and treat, but Dr. Leonardi was the first one to actually give me any real answers.
He conducted a thorough ultrasound and gave me a diagnosis of endometriosis, something doctors have looked for at least 3 times now and come up empty-handed.
Other than his ability to diagnose a hard-to-diagnose case, he was extremely kind and patient with me, gave me recommendations for treatment options, answered my questions truthfully and made it clear he'd be happy to help in the future if I or my gynecologist need help with this. I sincerely appreciate the hope he has provided me with, I now have a chance at properly treating endometriosis instead of shooting in the dark with treatments aimed at conditions I wasn't even certain I had in order to combat the pelvic pain. The level of relief of being able to confidently put a name to my illness is huge in itself, and that is due to Dr. Leonardi

I cannot say enough to express how wonderful my experience was with this doctor. He is definitely one of a kind in that he listens, takes the time to explain things to you and works with you on a treatment plan. His advanced techniques for diagnosing endometriosis through ultrasound make him one of a kind and I only wish that every endometriosis patient could have him as their doctor. On top of his surgeries, clinics and other work he is also advocating for his patients online and helping to change how endometriosis care is diagnosed and treated in Canada. Love this doctor!
