I'm a cancer survivor in my 30s. Perhaps one of the only fortunate things to come out of the experience was meeting Dr. Beg. He's perfect at his job.

Dr. Beg is truly brilliant and extremely concerned with doing what is right for his patients. He takes the utmost care to learn everything about the case. When the melanoma cells were necrotic he did not insist that my husband have the surgery, and this was the right decision. In our case, he did not suggest anything the slightest bit unnecessary. He has been our 'rock' for the past eight years.

Dr. Beg is only caring if you don't request a 2nd opinion, then his personality changes drastically. He uses scare tactics to convince you to go for the more extensive surgery.I am a breast cancer survivor of 10 years and thankful I switched doctors. All my tests and scans showed no spread of cancer but Dr. Beg wanted to do a masectomy. He got nasty when I asked for another opinion.I got 2 opinions both doctors told me a simple lumpectomy would be sufficient. No matter what good news I received from my tests and scans, he made it sound dire. When I told him I was switching doctors he told me I only had a 3 week window to get treated.I wonder how many more patients he has scared into radical unnecessary surgery?

I see Dr. Beg for Melanoma. He is one of the nicest individuals you will ever meet. No one wants to go see an oncologist, but you won't mind going to see Dr. Beg. He absolutely goes the extra mile and watches you very carefully. Always gives you a positive spin on the situation and gives you all the time you want to ask questions. I feel that I'm in such good hands. Believe me you will not find a better physician---I wish all physicians were like him!

I was transferred over to Dr. Beg as my previous breast specialist retired. I see Dr. Beg every six months for melanoma follow-up and also for breast exams due to previous benign lumpectomies. Dr. Beg goes that extra mile and I appreciate all the time and compassion he has shown me.

One of the best I know. I had surgery performed by him prompted by abnormal findings on my first mammogram. He took his time, explained everything. Everything was benign which I'm very thankful for but I have to go for follow ups every 4 to 6 months. When I was waiting for the biopsy results, he called me EVERY DAY because he knew I was a wreck. His office too, is very pleasant but the waiting time is sometimes very long - they tend to have alot of emergencies that they have to work in. I would use this surgeon for ANY type of surgical procedure I might ever need. Not only is he extremely knowledgable but he also has extreme patience and an exceedingly high caring level for his patients.
