Failed inverted v rhinoplasty and collapsed nostril unilateral. Agreed to having tip altered only. It was my first surgery. I was a face model. We verbally agreed to tip of nose revision only. When I went in for post op he pressed my cheek bone and asked if it hurt. It startled me and I answered yes that it did hurt. He said that is because I had to break your bridge to fix your nose. He did other than what we agreed to once I was under sedation. I was later advised and consulted with a different surgeon who said that some Surgeons are better are doing other body areas like breast for example. I was a face model and this changed the beautiful bridge that I was naturally born with... It was unique to me and part of my beauty. I suffered years after and finally had filler to help assist in a more normal appearance. He also tried to convince me that I needed a face lift when many year later I still do not need a facelift. Be careful and really do your research. Get what you want in writing. Their are surgeons who will listen to you and Taylor your treatment plan and not just do what they feel. He did offer to do it again at no cost besides paying the surgery fee. I was too afraid at that point. 9k later .. He does seem pleasant and this was earlier in his career but the fact that he did something different once sedated made me distrust him.
