im on the pension but get fortnightly superannuation from working in the public service. ive been seeing Dr. Wehbe since 2015 when she was the only psychiatrist who would see me with my long history of mental health problems. dr Wehbe treated me for severe pschosis, depressionand then ADHD. I am 62. when i didnt listen to doctors in the past things often went wrong so i tried to listen to Dr. Wehbe. and do what she suggested. I didnt always want to as it wasnt always easy and some of the things she suggested seemed pointless to me. ive learnt however, that its often those very things that make me feel better. i had one or two ups and downs with Dr Wehbe, not much but i think she is fair when she speaks her mind. Shes basically a very good person.. Im going from strength to strength with her as my doctor. She tries to win arguments with you regarding your mental health which is often good. If youre paying a lot to see her its worth trying out her ideas whatever initial judgements you have. i feel she has a very good grasp on how to get well and stay that way. she will also stick by people and listen if you need her to. i haveread negative reports about Dr, Whebe and think that people who have made them don't know her very well. i have seen her a great deal and found her consistant. i have to be careful with money but feel that getting Dr Wehbe's help is the best investment i have made. i have great mental health, quality of life and happiness today.. if i never saw her again i would say that she has helped me to have the best 2-3 years of my life. i highly recommend her as a therapist people should get to know. she is worth it and without good mental health you have nothing.

Dr. Wehbe is genuine and honest. Some people like it and some people don't. I love it because I have improved so much with her as my psychiatrist over a number of years now. Mental health doesnt change over night. Dr Wehbe cares and does her best to help. She delivers. I would prefer someone who is real than someone who puts on an act. As for the expense you get what you pay for.

Julie is knowledgeable, kind and lovely. It’s a tough and complicated job that she does but she does it very well and with care.
Her admin staff and particularly Michalis are fantastic at communication, explanations and are both professional and friendly too.

Initially it is expensive to see Dr. Wehbe However you do get reimbursed after 10 sessions. I would recommend this doctor for her skills in mental health regardless of the cost. She DOES know how to get people over mental illness and on the right path for a productive life. She doesn't always say what you want to hear but can be trusted to know what she's doing.

Today I was quoted $850 for an initial consultation. This is obscene. It is beyond greedy and grossly unreasonable and her other reviews make no mention of a medical/ psychiatric cure all.
Disgustingly outrageous/ unconscionable.
Medicare rebate is $231 so $ 619 out of pocket.

Dr. Wehbe wants to be respected and treated well. She doesn't tolerate bad behaviour. She is a competent mental health practitioner who doesn't beat about the bush. I find her warm, caring and good to talk to.

Dr Wehbe says it how it is. She may have her imperfections but she one of the only drs who will actually tell you how it is whether you like it or not. Also note to other reviewers . Yea she's really expensive but she always makes sure you leave with a good solid plan to leave with . She doesn't just leave you hanging and take your money. Don't dismiss this dr because she may run late or might seem disorganised. If you want the help she will guide you.
