Dr Silverman can’t be rated on the site. Because I can’t put down a negative number low enough to express how I really feel.

Dr. Silverman is an excellent ENT Doc. I seen him today at The Rego Park office since he’s no longer in Brooklyn. He’s very sweet, you can trust him, he listens to what u need to say, he did my exam with the endoscope and i was terrified but he reassured me he would be gentle & wouldn’t feel anything.. it was an absolutely excellent visit.. they called me as soon as i got in, i waited maybe 5 minutes but the staff was good too.. i give him 5 stars bcuz this is a great doctor great staff! Thxxxxxx guys! God bless!

He is a great doctor. I trust his skill as a surgeon and his knowledge as a doctor.
I saw him in his park slope office. Both times I went, I waited over an hour. The second time, I inquired as to why there were 3 patients scheduled at the same time as me. The staff said that they didnt have the same appt time, even though it was on paper in front of me. Other patients leave their belongings in the waiting room making it difficult to find seating. The floor of his office was was so dirty, I couldn't believe it. There were crumbs all under the seats and a glue trap for catching mice in the corner. Mice would probably not be an issue if people didn't leave crumbs and garbage everywhere.
All in all, Dr. Silverman is a very good doctor but his office needs work big time!

Dr. Silverman is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled practitioner. He takes the time to listen and answers all questions. He doesn't rush and tries to get down to the root of the problem. He has used the endoscope through my nose to look down my throat several times - he was very gentle and it was not a horrible experience, as I imagined.
It also sounds like he is very good with children (I don't know that first-hand, but he has many young patients). I highly recommend Dr. Silverman!
Note: I see him at the 6th Ave location in Brooklyn. The wait is long - at least an hour - but it is well worth it.

Patient's update
UPDATE: Dr. Silverman took over 5 months to provide me with a simple medical letter describing my condition!!! We had initially discussed it in person & he had said it would be no problem. I badly needed that letter for a time-sensitive issue. I followed up with his assistant dozens of times until he finally sent it. His delay was absolutely INEXCUSABLE!!! Also, his medical notes are handwritten chicken-scratch, so beware of that if you need good records.

Dr. Silverman is the best. He was super patient with our 6 month old. He explained us everything as detailed as possible and answered all our questions. His staff is very nice and helpful and were more than willing to go out of their way to make patients life easier. Dr. Silverman is smart and knowledgeable. We are happy we found Dr. Silver and we would definitely recommend him.

My son had a sleep study done because of his loud nasally breathing and another doctor in Manhattan recommended we get his tonsils and adnoids removed. So we were getting a second opinion and Dr. Silverman recommended a sleep studdy which was not fun for a three year old. That is AUgust. It is early November and despite repeated efforts, we have not heard the results of the study. Dr. Silverman tried us twice but we missed the calls and since then I have left messages at his office and heard nothing.
