I am so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Dzaja. He repaired my ACL. From the first consultation, to post-op, and right up through the follow-up appointments he explained everything thoroughly and in a calm and caring demeanor. My surgery went very well and I am pleased with the results thus far. Even my mother was impressed when she accompanied me to appointments. Allison, his office admin is excellent and extremely efficient as well. Thank-you very much for a positive experience, we need more physicians like him.

There are not enough stars 🌟 for this incredible surgeon. I recently had a hip revision surgery due to trauma to my hip and femur many years ago. He knew I wanted to be active again. Doc researched and sent me through much testing to ensure this would be the best outcome. He explains everything in detail in terms we can understand, never rushes out the door. My very long incision was made clean and fresh like it was first time operated. He visited in hospital each day , to be sure I was comfortable. I am forever grateful to doc dzaja for his knowledge , compassion and dedication

Dr Dzaja is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. I desperately needed a hip replacement due to chronic pain from loss of cartilage. My wife and I were very impressed with him during our initial interview; he was candid, explained in detail everything that was wrong with my hip joint and what procedure he proposed to do. We opted for day surgery at JBH and everything went exactly as planned. Surgery started at 08:00am and I was leaving the hospital at 15:30pm. Right after the surgery, while I was still recovering, he called my wife to reassure her and that everything was fine and that she should arrive at 13:00pm for scheduled physio. I am so happy with the new hip (pain free finally) and would highly recommend Dr Dzaja for orthopedic surgery. He is amazing.

I am not yet 50 years old and Dr. Dzaja was my surgeon for a left hip replacement. Having never had any surgery before, I was nervous, but ready as I have had chronic pain for some time. There are absolutely no words that can best describe Dr. Dzaja, but I will try. He is probably one of the most caring people I have ever come across (and I mean in life generally) from the first moment I met him (which was with my mother who had both hips replaced by him a few years ago). It's like you are his only patient. Some have described him as a gentle giant, so true. He explains everything, he listens, he asks questions, he knows. He cares. I am so very grateful that he is part of our health community. I donate, albeit minimally, every month to JBH as it is a wonderful hospital, with exceptional staff and volunteers and thankfully, the caring, gentle giant, Dr. Dzaja is amongst them.

Dr. Dzaja repaired my ACL and although the recovery is a long process. He and his staff (Alison) have been amazing. I was very fortunate to have been referred to Dr Dzaja. Thank you...looking forward to getting back to skiing and sports in time.
