Dr. Hoppe has replaced both of my knees and one of my hips. His talent shines through when you compare his results with the other surgeons at the Wellness House - the physiotherapists know! I would not trust anyone else to perform my surgeries.

I had a first class experience with Dr Hoppe, his staff and the JBH team. Dr Hoppe expertly performed TKR on my right knee in September. After recovery I now have a transformed life, I can now enjoy getting back outdoors and walk a distance with a chain saw to clear up the yard, and amazingly I can walk up and down stairs sequentially, not one at a time sideways like I needed to do pre-Op.

On our first meeting DR Hoppe explained the problem to me while we viewed the X-Rays. He gave me advice on pre-Op physio which I think helped a lot. The pre-Op information sessions at JBH were well presented and very valuable. The operation procedure at JBH was excellently performed by Dr Hoppe and the fantastic team in the OR. The post op recovery team were very helpful and efficient in making sure that I was ready to go home on the same afternoon of the surgery. Recovery was as Dr Hoppe explained and very well supported by the JBH Wellness Centre team.

Dr. Hoppe did my total hip replacement in Spring 2023. I chose him because of the positive comments here. I am an older senior whose hip had severely deteriorated and because of his excellent skills, I am now walking pain-free. I echo all of the positive comments about his skills, compassion, and positive, upbeat manner. His staff was excellent and all of the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital were always friendly and extremely helpful.

Dr Hoppe fixed my broken olecranon. Had a good result despite the bone being “smashed”. My surgery got cancelled once but I guess that is out of his control. The facilities at Joseph Brant are much nicer than they used to be. The fracture clinic nurse who took out my stitches was lovely.

I had a severe injury to my knee from skiing in February 2022, I ended up being hospitalized at JBH for 5 days and required 3 titanium plates to repair my tibial plateau fracture. Dr Hoppe supported me every step of the way. He did an excellent job - my incisions are almost invisible. With a lot of hard work and physiotherapy I have been able to get back to all activities, including running (even though he has suggested I switch to biking!). I am so thankful Dr Hoppe was working that weekend.
