On December 5, 2014, the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario obtained a Judgement against Irina Cuicioglo (now registered as Irina Siletsky) for violating the Massage Therapy Act, 1991 by holding herself out as a person qualified to practice in Ontario as a massage therapist, and by issuing receipts to clients for massage therapy despite not being a member of the CMTO. The Court ordered the Member to cease and desist from using the title of “massage therapist”, holding herself out as a massage therapist, and from issuing receipts in the name of Petra Ciobanu, or any other member of the CMTO.
