Dr. Busato is a phenomenal doctor.

My name is Cristiane. It has been a year since I had a surgery for the removal of a benign tumour in my parotid gland.

It’s was a major surgery. There was a risk of facial paralysis or weakness. Despite, everything went well and the surgery was a success. I woke up in the recovery room and already could see that no facial nerve damaged or weaknesses had occurred. I was sent home on the same day with a recovery package containing everything I needed to know about the recovery; including incision care, pain management, do and don’t, etc…

Recovery was amazing and I only had to take the pain medication on a few occasions.

Not long after having the staples and stitches removed, the incision place healed and was barely noticeable on my neck. Now, one year after. It is not noticeable at all and there is no change to my face’ symmetry.
I was told that the tip of my ear could suffer some level of numbness and that could be permanent. It didn’t happened.

Dr. Busato set the right expectations before the surgery and was very clear about the risks.

Communication with his office was great. I was in contact with Luana and she was amazing.

Therefore, I have nothing but positive things to say about my interaction with Dr. Busato and his staff.

By the way, my surgery was performed at the Mackenzie Health hospital, in Richmond Hill, and the nurses who took care of me and helped me through the pre and post-op were great.

I recently underwent an aspiration drainage procedure performed by Dr. Busato for a significantly enlarged thyroid cyst, measuring over 4cm, which had become inflamed and painfully sensitive to the touch. Prior to the procedure, I was struggling with severe discomfort that impacted my daily life. I experienced difficulties in breathing and swallowing, along with intense neck pain. The sensation of being constantly choked not only affected my throat but also upset my stomach.

Dr. Busato recommended the procedure and performed swiftly and remarkably effectively with more than 20ml fluid drained. Astonishingly, the acute symptoms that had been plaguing me for an entire week vanished almost immediately after the procedure. The sense of immediate relief was profound and deeply appreciated.

I am immensely grateful to Dr. Busato for his professionalism, exceptional skill, and extensive knowledge. His ability to alleviate such severe symptoms with such an efficient procedure speaks volumes about his expertise in the field.

I highly recommend Dr. Busato to anyone facing similar thyroid issues. His compassionate care and surgical proficiency have made a significant difference in my quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Busato, for your outstanding care and for restoring my well-being.

Best surgeon you can ever ask to have. He is quite busy and now I understand why everyone wants to be seen by him for their ENT problems. had my surgery with Dr. Busato for my thyroid cancer and he and his team went above and beyond for me. Luana was so helpful and got me in a short period of time and I was quickly given OR time. I’m so beyond thankful and grateful for Dr. Busato. Thank you for all your services for our community.

My visit with Dr. Busato was disappointing, he dismissed my concerns as if they were not important. He treated my visit like a joke, he was very unprofessional. I will be seeking a second opinion.

Dr Busato has been my ENT for a few years. I was diagnosed thyroid cancer and had it removed by Dr. Busato March 14, 2023. Not only is he thorough, he is knowledgeable, informative, patient, understanding and puts his patients at ease. When he told me not to worry, that he’ll take care of me, and he was a man of his word. He has a great team behind him from Luana, Sabrina and his surgical team. They are the kindest, knowledgeable and each and every one helped ease my worry. Dr. B came to speak to me before and after surgery. I have to give a shout out to the nurses I had from pre-op to post-op! They truly took care of me. I had a great calming feeling from my consultation about my situation, to the surgery. My daughter only met him the day of the surgery and hearing her say she got a really good vibe from him, confirmed everything. Thank you Dr Busato for your steady hands! I highly recommend Dr. Busato.

I saw DR Busato yesterday .I felt I was in good hands .He took me on time and listened to my concerns.He did a thorough exam was kind and respectful.Thanks to my Family Dr ..Dr Miri for sending me to him.
He secretary was also helpful and nice to deal for a change .

The best for sure ! I believe he found something under my tonsil I highly doubt anybody else would have. He had a gut feel went with it got it and may very well had saved my life most certainly was the soul reason it was found early on. That was nearly 4 years ago ! !
