Wonderful cardiologist. Dr Rosenburg actually took the time to explain everything to me, thoroughly - which nobody has ever done. I've had ongoing issues, with no answers, for years. I go through times where I just accept it, but seeing him today, I actually felt hopeful because he's committed to helping find the answer- Finally!! Thank you so much for your knowledge, your time, your expertise, your empathy, and your respect. Rather than feeling dismissed, I feel hopeful and like I'm in great, trustworthy hands. It's greatly appreciated to have a curious Doctor, who cares about their patients. Thank you, again!

Today's date is: March 8, 2024. I was referred by UBC ER to Pulse Cardiac Center for a Halter for 1 wk. PCC is owned and operated by Dr. Eli Rosenberg. I went to the PCC Jan 30/24 and started the halter patch the same day. About Feb 7/24 I removed the halter and put it in the envelop provided to mail back to the PCC. On Mar 7/24, yesterday, my doctor told me he hadn't received a report based on the halter data.
Today, Mar 8/24, I returned to the PCC and learned: they received the halter in early Feb 24; it had been checked by a "technician"; and, that I was put down for a "Consult" on Oct 10/24. I was told the report would be written after the "Consult". I confirmed that PCC was: not a private clinic; that MSP paid for the service; and, that the data itself was not the property of Dr. Rosenberg. [He owns PCC and is the only cardiologist in his business. Further Dr. Rosenberg considers himself to be a medical entrepreneur-see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqJwY8MT0cw ]
It was unclear whether Dr. Rosenberg would release the halter/data to another clinic which could write a report in a timely fashion.
I asked the receptionist to forward my concerns to Dr. Rosenberg as stated here and to note that: the reason a halter is ordered in the first place, by ERs etc-that there's a problem-cannot support a doctor/clinic creating a 9 month wait to write a report on the halter data. Surely the opposite-report quickly written upon receipt of the data-is required as basic for good medical practice.
Note: his staff were good, the Terrible ratings are because Dr. Rosenberg has chosen to have a 9 month process to enter the data into my health record-his knowledge is unknown

We're really fortunate to have him as our Cardiologist. He's a lifesaver (literally.). He saved my dad's life when another doc told him to just go home and prepare to die. Under his excellent care my father lived an extra 8 years!! And not just any years, but good ones, where he was totally independent for a long time. Fingers crossed he stays in practice for many more years. He's so thoughtful, really knows his stuff, and always makes sure everything's just right. He's genuinely the best of the best.

Dr. Rosenberg saved my life. My tests came back normal but he said he didn't believe the results and sent me for an angiogram. The angiogram showed a widow maker blockage and I had emergency bypass surgery. I cannot thank him enough. What a truly exceptional doctor!

Nice office space.
Had a few sessions with this Dr, who was very personable and a conversationalist. However, he keeps asking me ''what do I think he should do?!'' I thought it was an interesting approach as I have a condition in my Vena Cava (the main artery that goes into the heart), and the tests done in Canada DO NOT cover that part. All the tests showed that I had some issues, but nothing indicated that there is something wrong. I did some tests done outside of Canada, these MRIs showed what was wrong, with the recommendation to motioner as any incident with this kind of case will be fatal. When I shared this information with him, he was dismissive of this, especially when I asked him if we can do that kind of scan in Canada to monitor the change. I was disappointed by his approach.

Dr. Eli Rosenberg's response
I felt the need to respond as I have not treated a patient with an issue related to the vena cava for approximately 7 years. Either you are confusing me with another physician or there is a significant misunderstanding. In either case, I would appreciate if you would get in touch so we can sort this out. I'd appreciate the opportunity to see if I can help you.

Dr. Rosenberg was very thorough, uplifting and caring when he discussed my prognosis with me. He offered some alternative solutions to help combat my cholesterol and I felt a sense of relief after we had the telephone appointment. I’m very happy my GP recommended him to me ! Thank you Dr. Rosenberg !

Dr. Rosenberg is an excellent cardiologist with a wealth of knowledge. My cardiologist recently retired and my Uncle has been seeing him for years. Dr. Rosenberg is an astute medical professional. I have found him to be caring, kind, and thorough. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is very down to earth. He always leaves me feeling informed and cared for.

Had a phone consult approx. 30min. He took a detailed verbal history account and asked many detailed questions to support a diagnosis. He conducted himself in a friendly and professional manner. He reviewed bloodwork is had provided him via email. I would say that bottom line, he did his due diligence to eliminate a glaring serious issue. Beyond this, to actually resolve the issue, he offered no solution or suggestions on what other paths to investigate. He was indifferent about bloodwork results that were at the max range and did not provide helpful advice to improve blood biomarkers. All in all, pretty much the status quo of what to expect from a Canadian doctor. If you're not dying, then you're on you're own with respect to your health.

Dr Rosenberg is very knowledgeable and caring. In this day and age, where all doctors seem too busy for detailed consultation, explanation, and health planning, it feels good to be in the care of someone who is as patient as he is thorough, and that's "very" thorough. He has also assembled an amazing team. From the front desk reception to cardiac diagnostic technicians and clinical exercise physiologists, each person I've interacted with is positive, supportive, kind and patient.

Knowledgeable doctor and nice bed side manner but not a reliable member of my team. I can never seem to get a phone call back and no one ever followed up when I was in the emergency room multiple times for my heart stuff. Just feel like a number at the office.
