Long story short I went to visit Dr. Al-Khateeb and had a prescription given to me. I went to CVS to have it filled and was told my insurance doe not cover this medicine but they do cover an altenative. I said ok simple fix, I and called Dr. Al-Khateeb office back and told them the problem. I spoke with Asia first, she said she would take care of it and I could go back to CVS. So I go back to CVS the next day and still no prescription sent in. I call the office back they apologize and say they will take care of it. Some days go by and I contact CVS, still nothing. I call back to the doctor office maybe about 6 or 7 times, and by this time weeks have gone by. So the last time I call Im feed up and i want answers. A lady name Lisa answers my call and tells me the doctor says I am not a priority and that she will change my prescription when she gets a chance and if I want it done sooner I need to make another doctors appointment!! At first I thought she was joking. How unprofessional, irresponsible, and flat out disrespectful can you be! It takes 10 seconds to write a new script and she couldn't do it in almost a month! I am going to file a complaint with the BBB and also with Prince William County.

Ridgeview internal medicine i will never go back their staff person Jessica is the rudest person ive met. She is not customer friendly at all in person or on the phone. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Al-Khateeb and her wonderful staff are very professional and vet accommodating to me and my family. We have had plenty of serious health issues and this medical practice is by far the best (Dr. Husain is also exceptional and has a sixth sense when it comes to proper diagnosis). I also want to pay special admiration to the NP, Harriet Greenfield who is outstanding -- highly knowledgable, sunny disposition, great listener, simply the best! Jessie and Kim are super friendly and extreme accommodating even when dealing with the most stressful situations. My family and I HIGHLY recommend this medical practice!

I had bounced from one unsatisfactory PCP to another for several years when I picked Dr. Al-Khateeb's name off a list of practictioners when I changed insurance. That was three years ago. Dr. Al-Khateeb is extremely bright and perceptive. She takes a "whole body" approach to treatment and never looks at any concern in isolation. She also listens, a quality I cannot stress enough, and answers questions quickly and confidently. Dr. Al-Khateeb is very busy, and so she does tend to seem rushed, but that does not translate into lack of attention. Also, I have the good fortune to be quite healthy, so she does not need to spend a lot of time with me. From what I have seen, I would expect her to give each patient, the time and attention that individual requires. I recommend her very highly.

Dr. Al-Khateeb has been treating me for several years now. I find her professional, effective and has no problem admitting when she needs to refer me to a specialist. If the doctor she refers me to are not on my insurance, I have called her office with a list of names that accept my insurance. If there is one she particularly trusts, the office staff will call me back and let me know. This year has been especially challenging as my medical issues have become increasing disabilities. The doctor has helped me through the legal paperwork to try to protect my job and we are working towards getting my health controlled and as much improved as possible to allow me to continue working (I'm too young to retire, nor do I want to leave my job unless there is no other alternative). She is also one of the few physicans that understands how important my faith is to my healing. Her office may run late but it is due to patients who need urgent care and have to be fit in. I've been one so I'll wait.

Dr. Al-Khateeb has been my physician for several years. She is efficient, she has a great sense of humor, and she does not mess around when it comes to putting you on the road to wellness. Don't let that size 2 frame fool you. She is as scrappy as they come. I have blood work done every three months because of the medicine I take. Her staff is excellent as well. She's the best! Dr. Nizar Hussain is her husband, so you are in great hands as soon as you walk through the door.

I really like Dr. Al-Khateeb, but whenever I made an appointment to see her, I'd get stuck with seeing her nurse practitioner... although I specifically asked for the doctor. Dr. Al-Khateeb is a great doctor, but she is so busy a tends to rush you in a out of your appointments. Ever if you come early for your appointments, expect to wait 30 - 60 minutes before seeing the her. Her office if convenient to Potomac Hospital so if you need a CT scan or a special test, it's just a few feet away.
