I never write reviews but think I should in this instance in order to warn others of the terrible treatment and experience I’ve had with Dr. Plucknett, and her staff. If you do not like your phone calls returned, if you love being spoken down to and then being put into collection for a disputed bill, then this is the doctor for you! I’ve never in all my life met such cold hearted people who do not care about others. Truly very very sad. My credit rating is now negatively affected by this. What an injustice. Still waiting for someone over there to have HEART enough to help resolve this matter, and HONESTLY. Was told Dr. Plucknett has final say in all this and can help me get this mess finally cleared up - yet, she still has not returned any of my three phone calls this past year...that alone says it all. I wish I had read other reviews about her before making my appointment, it seems I am not alone in these circumstances. Beware.

I was hesitant to schedule an appointment after reading the reviews, but several women told me how good Dr. Plucknett was, so I scheduled a pap and pelvic exam. When I arrived at the office, the women at the front desk greeted me with smiles, made good eye contact and were friendly and respectful. The nurses were also friendly and the office mood was cheerful despite being the day before Thanksgiving. I'm sure the staff had things to do at home, but they were all professional and upbeat, including Dr. Plucknett. I work in a medical office that has been rated "Best Cancer Center" for the past six years and I know what makes a good patient experience. When the staff is rude and hostile, it is usually a reflection of poor management and a bad boss. I did not observe any evidence of that during my visit and, had I been reviewing the office as a mystery shopper, they would have received a good review.

After 4.5 years of going to this doctor and every single time having to hear my name pronounced wrong and not knowing certain things that a doctor should know, I am very fed up with it all. I should not have to tell them every time how to say my name and I definitely should not have to inform the doctor of things that she should already know, to confirm with a doctor is different than to be asked of something that they should already know. At least read from the charts that they should be filling in after every visit. My appointment was at 2:30pm, I arrived 25 minutes early and still waited an hour and a half to be spoken to for two minutes and paid for the visit which they said they could have done over the phone. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH HER.

Dr. Plucknett is an excellent doctor, but most of her staff leaves a lot to be desired. Got an apt with the PA within one day, but then it took over 2 months to get an apt with the doctor. Have to make repeated phone calls to get answers to ANY questions because the nurse will NOT return a phone call. If I had known this at the beginning, I would have chosen another doctor. I've always heard how great that Dr. Plucknett is, but didn't realize how difficult it would be to have to deal with her staff. Sadly, they reflect very poorly on her.

Had 2 surgeries with Dr plucknett. 2nd surgery was sacral colpopexy. Experienced increased pain several weeks later. Called for appointment. Waited over an hour to see Dr and turned out app was with nurse. Went back several times each time app was with nurse. Last visit nurse said she was sorry that I thought I was in pain.she made me feel like I was making it up in my head. Went to another dr and found out I was suffering from mesh erosion. Have since had 2 revision surgeries. And don't dare ask for your medical records. I had to put in a complaint with my insurance company and then only got partial records.

Extremely long wait. Nurses are not helpful and do not care about the patients. Office staff are OK. Dr. Plucknett is experienced. She just needs to educate her nurses or hire better ones!
