Dr. Mandell possesses all the needed medical qualities when dealing with her patients. Because of her knowledge, care and advice I am still alive.

Please take my advice and never go to Dr. Mandell. She should have her license taken away. Because she misdiagnosed my condition, I wound up getting admitted to a hospital for a week. My insurance company paid out $25,000 in hospital costs, when I most likely could have been treated as an outpatient. She had all clear, obvious symptoms and signs of my condition, but did not make a diagnosis, did not offer treatment, told me I had to go for an XRay (at that point I could not drive or walk). I believe she is so mentally unbalanced that she will miss a straightforward diagnosis, due to her severe psychological or psychiatric issues. When I got discharged from the hospital, I called her and informed her of the hospital's findings. She stated that she did not believe me, because I have no proof of what I am saying. She is dangerous and should have her license taken away. Please do not make the same mistake as I did. There are lots of decent Physicians out there, you will find one.

Dr. Mandell was very unfriendly and unhelpful. All she did was rush me through my appointment and referred me to other types of doctors, not even to one in particular that could help. I strongly discourage anyone from going here, it was a complete waste of time and money.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE Office Staff. Loved Dr. Mandell but am getting another GP since I cannot deal with the RUDE, LAZY office staff

The front desk is extremely extremely rude. They put you on hold and disconnect you eventually. If you need a referral you are sent to a voicemail with a recording of a foreign woman who you can barely understand who repeated says if you call from a cell phone we will not do your referral. 9 out of 10 times they never sent the referral and you have to call repeatedly. Dr Mandell is pretty rude, gives out pain killers and sleeping pills like they were candy. I can't believe that they haven't taken away her license.

This woman is brilliant. She has treated my entire family, including my late father. Because of Mandell we were able to spend 12 more years with him. Her referrals to specialists were all ACE teams at the top of their field. Simply put, she has many many years experience and if you don't trust her, I'd like to see YOUR PhD. Don't be scared off by the bad reviews, people are quick to criticize & short to praise, so make your own opinion before basing it on a website review. Dr Mandell has always steered me in the right direction & I believe her wait is so long because she is treating the other thousands of patients who love and trust her.

I have used Dr. Mandell for years and have found her to be down to earth, blunt and right to the point, some patients cannot handle that. She is extremely knowledgeable and I have been to a number of other doctors in the past where I knew more than they did. She will not hold your hand for a half hour listening to you cry, go to a different kind of doctor for that! For the amount of time that doctors now have "allotted" by the insurance companies for their fees she does a terrific job. My mom who just passed at 92 thought she was great too. Dr. Mandell did not force her to take any unecessary tests that were very uncomfortable for her at her age. And my mom had medicare too!

shes a little on the adhd side. nice person but seems to be lacking in focus for a period of more than 20 sec at a time

As others have said, "rude" and her office staff follows her lead. They sent my account to collection without ever telling me there was an issue. All of this surprised me since I have excellent medical insurance and always pay my co-pay on site. I had just gotten divorced and was working hard to build a decent credit rating. I certainly didn't need my name in a collections agency. It was admitted to be a mistake but NO APOLOGY was ever offered. Worse yet, a close friend of mine was greeted br. Mandell herself with this line "Hey lady, you owe me a lot of money!" This too, was a mistake. Needless to say we've both found other doctors. She's unprofessional!
