I am 18 months post op from a Lumbar Fusion. I can say the procedure went very well, little to no pain. Still no issues since the surgery. Dr. Moreno also did a Cervical fusion on me in 2010 which went so well I could have went back to work 4 hours after the surgery. I have nothing but the utmost confidence ion Dr. Moreno

After years of back pain, I finally have relief! Dr. Moreno did every procedure that he could to avoid surgery, but it was finally corrected permanently with fusion of my L5 to S1. I can't express what a wonderful doctor he is...patient, kind, professional, and very supportive. I would recommend him 100% and have done so already! His communication to family members is second to none, according to my husband. It really put him at ease.

Dr. Moreno is only after the surgery then your nothing was seen by him1 time in the hospital (was in for 1 week) the PA heather came and was confused what Dr. Moreno was doing neither took the time to explain anything and act like you was a burden in the hospital. The post opp was worse the office staff is awful sat in a dirty exam room syringes on a table door dirty boxes everywhere dirt on the ceiling with mold. When Dr. Moreno came in he was offended when I questioned my surgery site when he never looked at until he was leaving and I requested him to look st it. Only after money not the care didn't have therapy, bone stimulater arranged 2 weeks and still nothing office doesn't return calls or care. Don't go there only about money

I recently was diagnosed with spondylosis, after other doctors review, Dr. Moreno was definitely most qualified and highly recommend by his peers. I was apprehensive, but he was honest and involved in all the details, from pre-op testing, hospitalization, to post-op. I am 3 weeks new and while still recovering have found Dr. Moreno and his staff available and helpful with all my concerns. Thank you so much.

I had scoliosis surgery years ago by Moreno. I have had lower back pain for 2 years that hasn't improved with PT or injections. I saw him recently and he ordered an MRI and x-rays. I saw his PA for results. She said to do ablation (nerve burning) which I didn't want. We agreed on surgery to fused the last 2 vertebrae. I had to see him 1 week before surgery. Sure enough, he said no to it all. He didn't bother to check my scans that he ordered. He said to do injections, and I had to remind him I already did those with his pain management doctor. I was pissed. I have arthritis and stenosis, which will worsen with time and will need a revision. I refuse to go back to him. His practice seems to be falling apart. He was great a long time ago, but doesn't seem to care now. I saw a different surgeon, and he agreed with what I want, and actually cared. If you see him, I hope he pays attention to you and doesn't blow off your condition or pain. It was a waste of my time. Thank goodness for the other scoliosis surgeon I am seeing!
