Until recently I saw another Orlando doc for about six years for hypertension, well I saw a nurse practitioner or PA, which is fine, but rarely the same one. They came and went with alarming regularity. The one time I actually interacted with that doc I lost all respect for him and his practice. His disdain for me was palpable. While answering his questions he interrupted me and acted as if I were wasting his time. Time that my insurance and I were paying for nonetheless. I was lectured about my triglycerides being high and that I need to cut down on meat and dairy. I'm vegan. I'm now seeing Doctor Douglas. He also drew labs and also saw that my triglycerides were a bit high with normal cholesterol, but being a bit more intellectually curious he determined that one component of my medication, which I'd been on for years with the previous doc, was likely causal and changed my meds. I am happy that I moved on and stopped paying for disinterest, lack of effort and bad attitude.

I have been a patient of Dr. Douglas' for two years now. He is BY FAR the best family doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of treating with. I have never had more than a 5 minute wait in his waiting room & in fact most of my visits total LESS THAN 20 minutes, unless I have an issue to discuss that takes longer. He is very down to earth, friendly and has a GREAT bedside manner. He listens to & will discuss with you in depth any questions or concerns you may have regarding your health. His office staff is helpful and friendly & getting a same day or next day appointment has never been an issue. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a GREAT family doctor.

He is the first Dr. who actually listened to me and didn't have preconceived notions. His bedside manner is excellent. He is open to natural remedies as well. I was impressed from the moment i walked into his office.

I am self pay. I had a heart attack and needed a cardiologist. When Dr Douglas found out no cardiologist would take me due to lack of insurance, he personally called in to several & within 24 hours of his call, I was meeting with a cardiologist. Dr. Douglas is compassionate, knowledgeable, and treats people, not just symptoms. He truly is "holistic" because he cares about the whole person.

Dr. Douglas is the BEST!!!! He spent 45 minutes with me upon my first visit to review and discuss some health issues and concerns that I have been experiencing for years. He accurately diagnosed me with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Low Thyroid, and avoided a Liver Biopsy to name a few things!!!! He found the answers to questions that I have had for years despite the lack of help from my OB/GYN and Dermatologist. Dr. Douglas has wonderful bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable, personally calls with testing results, and always remained positive despite finding 3 liver masses. I can't thank him enough for taking care of me and the fact that I am going to get my life back thanks for him :) Far none, he is #1 and every review you read about him is the absolute truth...a definite "angel" on my side!!!!
